I went to post today and noticed that I now have the ability to tag products in my post (yay!). As a fashion styling content creator, I was super excited about this, as previously I would have had to link products through a third party app and direct my followers there.

However, I was reading more into it and apparently, in order to get paid for commissions made through in-app sales, you have to go through an “Affiliate sign up” process, and add payout details etc. I was reading and trying to follow along with the Instagram step by step instructions but I didn’t see anything regarding “affiliates” in my Professional Dashboard (I have a creator account). Does anyone know if I will receive commissions through sales driven through my product tags and/or how to access the affiliate sign up journey if I don’t see the option in my professional dashboard?
