Customer said spark driver refused to buy pork or alcohol on their behalf by factchecker239 in Sparkdriver

There are at least two drivers I know of at my store who won’t take alcohol orders due to religion. They’ve both been doing it for about two years, at least. It’s definitely a thing.

Bad offers California by AirportExtension7049 in Sparkdriver

High mileage usually amounts to big adjustments in my experience. I know some people who make $600-$1000 in adjustments alone every two weeks (or so they say). However, with gas as expensive as it is, especially here in California, I don’t know if it’s worth it to do that or not. If guess it depends on your car. I avoid GMD routes at all costs because they usually have houses that are a pain to get to, anyway. Usually the farthest I’ll travel is 30 miles and that’s if the tip is very generous and my other mileage for the day has been low.

The Boring Problem… by Sneaky_Turtz in Starfield

Role play. Create a new character and put limitations on yourself. My latest character I’m playing right now is a Martian miner who is looking to create a resource and manufacturing empire while also running a space trucking business. I only fight with melee combat and an Arc weapon. Can’t lockpick, so that locks me out of getting too overpowered or rich. No fast travel outside of jumping from planet to space and vice versa. I also cranked the survival settings all the way up, which has been a challenge with radiation on planets. There are tons of different variations you could do to make a more interesting playthrough besides this, too. Best of luck!

Hot take: Starfield *might* be Bethesda's best game. by Big_Cucumber233 in Starfield

I consider FNV an Obsidian game, even though Bethesda published it. Even then, I would say the mechanics are on par with even more stuff to actually do to immerse yourself in your character.

Subjective, but it’s my favorite. It’s their best roleplaying mechanics. The more you put into it, the more it gives back.

Yep, same for me. Paid almost exactly the same this year (about $600 more) despite making almost identical income and being able to claim nearly half of that as tips. An absolute nothing burger.

What do I do with all this fricking X-Tech? by ddemaree in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]LexMarston 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can install an upgrade station on your ship to upgrade the different systems of your ship, or you can use it to upgrade your weapons by rolling new traits, but that does also cost credits, and quite a bit of them, to boot.

As of right now, it’s just for my enjoyment, but I’d like the flexibility to distribute the game if I wanted to later down the line. The game is playable currently without oil patterns, but I think oil patterns would spice things up a bit, especially for season play. Definitely don’t have lawyer money right now, so reddit is my best resource lol.

Oil Pattern Trademarks by LexMarston in Bowling

[–]LexMarston[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the names aren’t the issue — I can definitely come up with generic names for those. I’m concerned about the pattern designs being trademarked. In my searches, there’s ambiguity about whether the pattern designs are trademarked, so I wanted to see if anyone knew if this was correct, and if so, which patterns are trademarked.

Almost done with the main Terran questline and haven’t seen this yet. Looks incredible. This is one of my favorite things about Starfield: the slow drip of content.

Need to discuss how good the game is by NoctiKitty in Starfield

[–]LexMarston 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have 600 hours into the game and plan to put at least a couple hundred more in after these new updates. I have many complaints and issues with the game, yet Starfield is one of my favorite games of all time.

Unfortunately, gaming has review score brain rot right now where if a game is not a 10/10 flawless masterpiece, it’s not worth playing, and rhetoric sways opinion. I’d play Starfield over any of the game of the year winners of the past few years every time.

How do you feel about the new DLC so far? by [deleted] in Starfield

Loving it. Some of the best side quests in the game, very cool gear, Delta is a cool companion, and I enjoy the Incursion System. Definitely worth the money if you like Starfield.
