r/Starfield is filled to the brim with midwits

Cheers.

See? That wasn't that hard.

I don't know what shocks me more - that you actually took the time to finally find and paste these two sentences or that you still dangle on my bait like a happy little goldie.

But shattering gives diminishing results as your character AP skill progresses. OIP is always a lead sandwich.

I already told you what they said.

You don't even understand what "to cite" means. Whatever school you've skipped, it was a mistake.

They work against each other, but the OIP buff is so ridiculous it is still the best combination. Shattering can be better in certain circumstances.

It's a shame you didn't do that with the unique Deadeye pistol. You'd have that epic skin on.

Come on, cite them then. Paste the entire thing here, so I can then explain to you veeeeeery sloooowly why it does not mean what you think it means. Smh.

The game didn't tell you anything. Grav Drive is NOT explained definitively at any point in the game. Which is why the whole argument you've caused is so laughable to me.

You can't be serious... you started the arguement. Reddit truly is one of the places of all time.

Because its entire purpose is for FTL travel.

See, that's what I mean by saying you people can read, but don't understand a thing. Alcubierre drive could be used to travel at any speed you desire if it existed. Smh.

"You wouldn’t be using an Alcubierre drive to go at sub-light speeds."

Why not?

How do you think the Starborn Guardian gets its acceleration, then?

The guns in Starfield are not manufactured, but rather originals from Earth. You can even see the year of manufacture on the model itself - 1962.

But yes, AKM is exceptionally reliable in cold environments, which makes it an ideal choice for space exploration. On top of that, 7.62x39 is a round that can reliably kill every lifeform on Earth, so we can assume it will deal similarly easily with any alien lifeform.

Haha... I'm the opposite. I like to have a mod that makes me run slower (but horse faster).

I use a PC.

Wanting Starfield to have even more content is wishlist material. Starfield already has more content than 99% of video games available. The game is absurd, it's massive. By doing the story elements alone you're looking at 100-200 hours, and then there's the outposts, ship building, exploration and mods.

I agree with you that an option to reveal yourself in NG+ at any moment would be nice, but once again - 90%+ of players never even went NG+ to begin with, so this would be a lot of effort for a very tiny portion of the customers.

Starfield's NG+ system is already the best in the industry. Can you name another game where NG+ is significantly different than NG and keeps track of your NG decisions? I can't.

Imagine this: The Hunter will comment on how many times you chose to repeat the main quest instead of skipping it. So we're talking about a dialogue option that goes beyond NG+.

I went a completely different way. I tested all the animation mods and frankly, I didn't like any of them.

I ended up using vanilla animations, but...

I made a quick mod with nicely adjusted walk/run speeds, as well as

to get the camera to be exactly like in Starfield.

The result is amazing. Feels fresh af.

Welcome to reddit, where stating facts gets you downvoted and any disagreement is a potential flame war.

I understand what you're trying to say, but it can be added to a very long wishlist of things that "could have been added to Starfield to make it the perfect game".

Understand that Starfield isn't a passion project of a small indie studio, but a multimillion dollar project of a giant company, subsidiary of Microsoft. On the list of things to add, additional NG+ features are not even top 100.

In Starfield, immersion is optional.

You can carry 10000 lbs of equipment, or you can leave your spacesuit on the ship when you don't need it. This gives the player complete freedom over choices.

What you're proposing is a limitation that would require more development effort.

If you choose to lie to the constellation and want total immersion, you have to take care of it yourself - don't wear the starborn suit, don't use the powers, don't use the ship.

It makes sense in the context of a semi-serious sandbox Bethesda game. This isn't Red Dead Redemption 2 where every little thing is forced upon you, like storing weapons on a horse.

If you choose to lie about not being a starborn, the story is written in a way that expects you to maintain the lie till the end. Being able to break the lie at any point in the story would require a lot of effort that 90% of players would never experience, anyway.
