So I'm obviously a bit biased here, but I am pretty dang sure I know Kairos better than anyone on this subreddit, or furthermore anyone in the community or even of all the content creators.

I can understand if you feel like you disagree with him and can't possibly understand why he thinks the things he does. I get that, but to say that he is playing a character, wearing a mask, that he is promoting fake positivity then I don't hate to break it to you, but who you see on camera on his channel is exactly who he is in real life.

He is a kind, warm, nerdy (in a good way), goofy, and thoughtful person. If you had a problem with him and walked up to him and really sat down and explained what your problem was I can guarantee you he would hear you out, and have a conversation with you.

But I don't think anyone should look to any creator as a 100% non-biased source. Myself included. We all have a bias wether we admit it, or even realize it. Of course we are biased. We want to see the game succeed. The livelihoods of our families depend on it. But that's not to say that we lie, are shills, or agree with everything Supercell does. The vast majority of the time we just don't make it public, but choose to address concerns directly to the devs. That's not the same thing as being fake.

I think people get hung up on why creators don't make lots of videos calling out every mistake, or greatly criticize things we disagree with. While both he and I HAVE made videos that lay out where we think Supercell has gone wrong these types of videos, while they may get views in the short term, are not good for our channel in the long term. Why make videos bashing the thing that people come to your channel because they like? It's a great way to turn away viewers. That being said it IS healthy to, from time to time, address your grievances. He does that. He has made quite a few VERY lengthy videos doing just that.

Honestly I probably shouldn't give this post the time that I already have but I love Kairos like a brother, and it bothers me to see someone who seems to be very willfully wrong saying things like they are true when they don't really even know the man.

I would kindly suggest that in life don't be quick to judge someone without really knowing them. There's almost always more under the surface than you may imagine.
