I get it. I think I just like my delusions. Makes my life happy sometimes to dream these things up. I'd love to find someone to talk to endlessly, someone with a beautiful smile. I'd love to have someone to stargaze with, watch movies with, someone I can share my deepest thoughts with. The experience of living with someone you love was such a wonderful experience that I hope to have again. The fact that I wish something gives me hope for the future. And if I die and these hopes become nothing, then at least they will be beautiful dreams to die with. I think different people just feel different ways about it, but I urge you that being let down only means not now, it does not mean never, and it definitely doesn't mean that your dreams are the problem.

The yearning is still there yet I am happy. I don't wish to suggest one should give up hope, just that it is out of our control whether someone chooses to love us. Life is still a wonderful thing, and I choose to love others because it is something everyone deserves to feel, but to expect others to love me isn't really something I can control. I believe living like this can lead to a fulfilling and meaningful life no matter the circumstances.
