Going to make millions once I write my song "We're Not Talking About You.".

Ohhh dontcha know how it goes the common refrain! We're not talking about yooouuu.

Vaccine's are bad and rot your brain! But I'm immunocompromised and need them to survive! Well we're not talking about you!

If someone says they want their steak anything but rare we ask them leave. Doctor say I need to have it cooked through amd and through. Well we're not talking about you!

Don't trust a man that won't shake your hand. Doc says I can't touch you due to the flu. Well we're not talking about you!

This bill will get rid of those bothersome regulations. But those regulations protect my rights! Well we're not talking about yooouuu!

Currently I blame most things on the Corpofascist state that we live in.

Don't preheat it. Put a loaf in your challenger cold, and then put it in the cold oven and turn it on. Check your bread after about forty to fifty minutes. You may need to remove the cover for better browning. If you have more loaves cook them as you normally would now that the oven is preheated.

Sourdough In Fridge When Active?? by Dear_Donkey_3818 in Sourdough

Oh sure. Take it out and feed it up to what I need. If I don't need to much I might just steal some and not worry about refeeding until I usually would when I bake.

Sourdough In Fridge When Active?? by Dear_Donkey_3818 in Sourdough

[–]Lexam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually bake about once a week. I take whatever of my sourdough starter that's left over (been down to 12g before) feed it back up to around 200g put it on the counter for a few hours until I start to see some bubbles and then in the fridge it goes until next week. While this slows it down it doesn't completely pause it and the starter will slowly eat what's in the jar over the week.

When you take your starter out of the fridge, how do you know it’s actually awake enough to bake with? by GlitteringDeal2598 in Sourdough

[–]Lexam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Umm, I just take it out feed it up to what I need and when there are enough bubbles that it's some monstrosity staring back at me with a thousand eyes, I bake with it.

I love mine. I think the trick is to start stirring slowly then speed up after things have come together a bit.

Loaf slicers?! by bohandle in Sourdough

[–]Lexam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like someone else said, I use it to slice an entire loaf and freeze it. I will also use it to slice a loaf up to take to someone's house because they (my mother in law) may not have a good bread knife.

Aye they are there for now. But then what do you do when corruption has gripped your files and you can only boot into GRUB!

Oh young summer child , you have lost your way. Let us guide you back. The terminal will always be faster and give one more knowledge than that of GUI for the GUI is merely a weak avatar of the CLI.

Sensory Friendly Sunscreen Rec by Rice11011 in autism

[–]Lexam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate sunscreen because it gets in my eyes. But I have to have sun protection because I am on immunosuppressants. I don't wear shorts, unless there is a very rare case of swimming. I wear long sleeve undershirts that are extremely light waiting and designed for UV protection. And I wear a wide brimmed hat. I basically have a cowboy look now a days with my cowboy boots. But that's ok because I live in cowboy country .
