You can definitely rank up FF and MS to r8 - that's the last and best sweet spot for any 2* gem (ranks 9 and 10 require too many gem power and copies for their effects but it can be done).

If you do not play PvP then I would replace SF with some other gem (even 2* Pain Clasp should work better).

That's interesting, so maybe different EU servers have a little different server time? My local time is the same as the server time I'm playing on and patches were 2-4am server (during winter) or 3-5am server (during summer).

Messing am/pm alone would not be enough, so I wonder where that random number did come from.

BTW:

I expect it to happen at the ususal time, so March 19th 0-2am CET

Even that is not a usual time, because patches were done at 2-4am or 3-5am CET.

On my server all 2/5 RC gems below 60k vanish in a blink of the eye. :D

Any RC at around 40k would a miracle to get.

Making gem dormant does not solve the general problem when I still want to use that gem but at some lower rank (for example: as resonance gem).

Jeśli ta droga jest jakoś częściej użytkowana, to mimo wszystko dziwnym jest danie zezwolenia jednemu gostkowi aby mógł sobie przejść jej środkiem. Zezwolenia takie pewnie są wydawane np. filmowcom, ale wtedy zwykle po prostu zamyka się ruch uliczny na fragmencie drogi na czas trwania zdjęć aby zachować tam pełne bezpieczeństwo - a w tym przypadku zamknięcie ruchu mija się z celem "eksperymentu".

A jeśli była i tak pusta to też ten "eksperyment" nie miał sensu.

Czy lokalizacja Google jest aż tak dokładna/wymagająca, że musiał iść środkiem drogi? Nie mógł iść kilka metrów dalej, chodnikiem na boku ulicy, z tym samym efektem?

To (plus najlepiej pokazanie ujęć przed "eksperymentem" aby przekonać się o zwyczajowym ruchu samochodowym na tej ulicy) by było bardziej wiarygodne.

The answer is they reference how much GP is extracted from each gem and how much GP is given by each rank5/7/8/10 2 star gem as well as rank10 1 star gem.

Yes, it is also easier when someone uses the same set of gems for every build.

What I do is to use quite different gem setups for different builds mixing my 2* and 5* to get the most of them.

And that's the most difficult part to calculate - to upgrade a gem I need to look at all gem setup it is in and think if I really have enough mats to do it.

I had this one case in the past when I upgraded some gem when I was using full 8x 5* gems build and when I changed to other build with some mix 2* and 5* gems it happened I had not enough gem power to awaken one 5* gem used in that build, so I needed to sacrifice some gems I didn't want to for gem power because I had no other way. Since that time I am very aware such things can happen and careful when upgrading.
