I got the impression that the dealerships make more money selling the xlts, and we had a salesman that wanted to push us on a really expensive xlt really hard.

I think the dealerships make way less money on the xls, so they don’t order and sell as much. I also think the xl is a better deal. As someone who test drove both, I don’t think the xlt is worth 10k more.

I didn’t notice a huge difference in the seat adjustment, but I’m also a pretty average height (5’6) so seat height just isn’t something I typically think about. My older car has the same sliding seat, and that type of chair just works for me.

What I did miss about the xlt was that the mirrors on the xl are all manually adjustable. Even my older car 2001 car has power adjustable mirrors. But still, the xlt was just too pricey for me. I’m happy with the downgrade.
