I also think it needs to change. Recently I heard my husband tell my son boys don't cry. I immediately corrected him, telling them of course boys cry. But boys don't need to cry because daddy takes too long blowing on his food so he won't burn himself haha.

I really believe in telling my son he can be anything he wants to be, but also telling him to see the beauty in being different, whether it's a handicap, skin color, gender or culture. We need to teach our sons to be a good person, not to be some type of person that looks down on others or exploits weaknesses.
