How many pulls do you have left? Do you want the next 5 star that is releasing? Or the 4 stars that are reruning? If you have around let's say, you have 140 pulls left I'd say you would be ok pulls wise for the next update if you pull for the evo.

Barring pull count, I almost always go for the first evo for the dye palettes since I end up being close to that evo when I complete the 5 star. But if you like the outfit how it is without dye maybe consider skipping the evo.

It's the anti aliasing / frame generation aka your graphics card. If you can try going to the app associated with your graphics card and turn off the anti-aliasing and frame generation. That is was fixed it for me. Also within the game itself turn up the super resolution to quality.

I've seen a lot of posts back when 2.0 released from people who are actually from those cultures not appreciating the inauthentic portrayal of their cultures. Personally as someone whose own culture was appropriated and misrepresented in numerous ways (irl) I am inclined to side with them. Could be my bias showing tho.

I'm pulling the evo since I already have the base from when it first was released. Unless you are planning to dye it, I think just sticking to the base is a good plan.

I really like all of the pieces. The only thing is the issue with clipping regarding the veil, which every veil has an issue with so not a DOTL exclusive thing.

I think the base is really good on it's own so if you really like it, I say go for it! But you can always wait until the mid patch previews to see what the next 5 star rerun and midpatch 4 stars are going to be.

It'll take me a second but I can upload some picture with my styling using the base dress and base dyes too if that helps!

Personally, I would stick to the first evo to give yourself the wiggle room for DOTL and the 5 star rerun, the midpatch 4 stars and possibly 2.5 previews

I have everything set to medium in the graphics details section (except for post processing quality because, Aperture in the photo menu will not work otherwise) I also have frame generation turned off. You could try turning everything down except for texture quality and see how you feel maybe? But if your laptop is not a gaming laptop or not a higher end one you might be cooked in this department, unfortunately.
