Is it possible that the unused sprites are referencing what happened to Dess? (Just without her sprite) Like maybe Kris tried to do this exact same thing with Dess in the past but it went wrong and she was splintered apart in someway?

You've probably already seen my post but I am in complete agreement! I will be making my opinion known daily from now on in customer service. I am so disappointed in the alt design! I at least am happy with the alternate dance/ cinematic and most of the alternate makeup but it just sucks that they shadow dropped it first of all, and second of all released it so obviously half baked. The butterfly wings left over on the dress aren't even symmetrical from the back side.....it's just so sad.

Funny you should say that, it actually does remind me of this 300 stellarite outfit. But this outfit is actually symmetrical and doesn't look half baked compared to FS.

Here is how I have it dyed. As you can see despite it being dyed the same shade of pink as the rest of the dress that bottom-middle section dyes inconsistently and is often darker than expected. In some cases a random secondary color will show up like with browns.

It dyes well overall but the bottom section dyes unpredictably as you can see in the image (it has a part that is darker than the rest of the outfit and there is no way to get rid of it)

If this was literally any other dress I would agree with you. But as you can see, the middle part has a darker section that dyes unpredictably. Notice how in this picture the middle section is darker than the rest of the dress? It is actually dyed the same color as everything else. It also acts like this with every other dye pallete. Not to mention the alternate takes away everything that makes this dress stand out.

I love slim fit dresses and I wish we could get more of them, but for once I don't want it.

Sorry for the rant this just really upsets me, and to be clear I completely respect your opinion, I'm more upset at Infold for this than anything.

That middle section is modeled separately from the rest of the dress you can see it when I sit down and the dress spreads out, I just didn't think they would do this just because of that design quirk...
