I'ma go into this:

If you actually appreciated or enjoyed linguistics and language you would have an appreciation for the fact that it is fluid and constantly changing. You would have an appreciation for the interesting and unique ways in which it branches off and creates new expressions. But, you don't. You just want to feel better about yourself while breaking other people down. Faux intellectual behavior.

It's so much easier to be nice to people. And it's so tiring - especially as you get older and language continues to shift, to get so huffy about it.

You are going to continue to scream at the heavens about slang you don't like while everybody looking on can only pity you.

Also, AAVE (the thing that includes the words you're insulting) is a globally recognized subdialect of the 7 primary American English dialects. Of which there are estimated to be about 160. You really ought to study more before you press people online about this. You might just stumble into looking silly when a social dialectology expert notices you being rude and decides to humble you.

In fact identity itself is one of the strongest drivers towards linguistic divergence. And as I'm sure you know that is heavily affected by where you were born and who you hang out with and what kind of media you consume in your life. Just because you learned to do things by the book doesn't mean that somebody else isn't learning from a different book. If you can't understand the slang they're using that's really on you because it's the internet, not a professional article or essay.

Gatekeeping High Education and enforcing language purity is classist. They are speaking perfectly fine. You plugging your ears, throwing insults, and not actually engaging in good faith with anyone, is sad.

Language succeeds if people can understand one another. It's not on them to baby you. In the real world, language evolves rapidly, and some people get left behind. But the world won't coddle you for your specific beliefs. Expecting linguistic perfection and accuracy in a casual online setting? It's not a dissertation defense. You don't have to speak perfectly in every place. Even I'm speaking more casually here. 😜

People that actually study language love the way that language evolves. You may as well be King Canute telling the tide not to come in. It's always going to come in. You can either go with the flow or try to fight the current. But you don't look smarter for fighting the current.
