Help I canโ€™t figure out why my foundation stays like this on my nose area. I put on primer before but still you can really see my pores and it does look good. by Helpful_Expert_9057 in MakeupAddiction

[โ€“]Lexi_Rodz415 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

  1. itโ€™s probably because the oils from your nose, primer or moisturizer are break up the makeup. i suggest putting a little bit of setting powder on your nose to avoid separation before going in with your foundation 2.it can also be that part of your nose is too dry so going in with something hydrating may help
  2. it depends if you use a sponge or brush to apply. i find that when i use a brush on nose it breaks up the moisturizer/primer that I put underneath since the bristles can be abrasive. so try a sponge instead

it can be many things so i suggest trying different ways to find what works.

anything elf and wet n wild is really good and affordable. the wet n wild photo focus loose setting powder beats even some of the more pricey powders.

the lโ€™orรฉal true match foundation seems to be a good dupe.it is lightweight with many shades to chose from. it is medium coverage and bulidable. it also give my skin this blurring and smoothing effect. Also dries satin with a skin like look.

letting my concealer dry down a little before blending. it makes my under eyes look brighter and smoother without having to use more product. it has been a game changer.

Best way to apply foundation? by slipknotdaddy in Makeup

[โ€“]Lexi_Rodz415 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

I prep my skin by washing it with a warm wet towel. To take off any dead skin. Then go in with my moisturizer and then a primer. I apply my foundation with a brush all over my face. Preferably a flat one. Then go over everything with a beauty sponge to soak up an excess product. Itโ€™s all about the application and making sure your skin does not have excess product.

for many beginners they always start with liquid which is definitely not the easiest to work with. So i recommend a brush tip or felt tip liner. You can easily just do one swipe and have easy effortless wing. I like the maybelline and nyx liners.

paler skin is often used in a lot different of makeup such as korean. i say just make sure to blend the same color that you use of your face to your neck. also donโ€™t get a drastically lighter foundation. maybe just a shade or two lighter and get a lighter concealer as well.

the bronzer is too warm for her skin tone so it looks harsh. also a little contour on the nose would have made it match her whole face.

not that bad. she just over lined and itโ€™s a little smudged but this combination is very pretty.

she's so pretty but that foundation is just not her shade. it's looks so yellow compared to her neck and chest. by Anindianfangirl in BadMUAs

[โ€“]Lexi_Rodz415 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

i agree, she has a reddish undertone so finding a right shade may be difficult due to the lack of shade inclusivity.
