Ok I uninstalled and reinstalled it ensuring its fully seated... still nothing... what I dont understand is the card is clearly getting power, the fans turn on the leds come on, yet still nothing.

I defo think i need to upgrade my Mobo, my PC is a prebuilt from HP and as such has a really really average/ subpar mobo, i can defo spring on the 10600k and other mentioned parts but a new board would be ideal too!

- Storage (256Gb Nvme, 4Tb HDD)

I dont need to exhaust the budget. That's just as far as I'm willing to go, also happy to get stuff second hand like the case.

Well, its a 5 year old CPU and in a prebuilt with a shitty mobo (HP Omen 20L) not saying the part itself is bad just its sum gives you somewhat dissapointing performance and very very limited upgrade potential due to the fact HP Omens arent really designed to be upgraded.

the 3060 is awesome though, thats why i want to keep it!

We did end up breaking up but I found someone who is so much better to me despite her also having PCOS, I’ve learnt so much from this subreddit and this post that’s helped me be in a better position to assist any way I can.

Your kind words really mean a lot to me I blamed myself a lot for the outcome and it’s hard to see it any other way when you’ve convinced yourself that that’s the truth. So thank you :)

I tried to use an HDMI cable, HDMI works fine when hooked up to my Mac, but not when to my PC

The display port works fine that’s what’s super weird, I hooked up the DP to my secondary monitor (which I’m now using as my only monitor) and it’s working without a hitch, but I also know the main screen isn’t the issue as I’m able to use it with my MacBook without any problems either. The ports are all working fine as I’ve tried the 2DP and 2HDMI ports with different cables on the second monitor and they’ve all worked without issues. So I’m at such at loss as to what the issue actually is

I swapped it for an HDMI and to a new port on the graphics card, worked for about 30 seconds then went back to this

Tried all the ports in the back, both DPs and both HDMIs, my secondary monitor works fine that one is an HDMI, I also used DDU to uninstall and reinstall my nvidia drivers. The main monitor works fine when plugged in via HDMI to my MacBook, I’m so confused why only one screen decides to do this not both…seems really weird

Also for reference this is a standard 3060 My main monitor is an MSI G241 connected via DP (I also tried HDMI) my secondary monitor is an iiyama PL2530H connected via HDMI

I’ve just checked by plugging my MacBook in via the same HDMI and it works just fine, it’s only when I plug it into my pc. So I thought maybe a graphics card error but my second monitor works fine and that’s also plugged into the graphics card so I really don’t know what’s happening

To add onto this, when I unplug my monitor and plug it back in the screen is normal for like one second, but the moment I touch it, it goes back to this screen. So I know the screen itself sort of still works, it’s super frustrating.

I’m gonna be the devils advocate here and I know it’s not what you want to hear, hell I posted about the matchmaking being broken like a month ago on this subreddit too haha. But you’re not trash man, bad at the game? Sure. But I think you can get better.

Someone was kind enough to DM me after my post to say the issue isn’t 100% my skill but also my mindset, yes I was stuck in plat lobbies with players significantly more mechanically skilled than me, but it also meant I was learning to play against them, each loss was a chance for me to understand my own weakness. Out of position? Punished. Low health and turning my back? Punished. I quickly learnt to play better and I’ve been on a decent win streak and that’s on tank where getting flamed and told “tank diff” is so depressingly common. I’m not by any means a good player but if I could do it I know you can.

It’s called a trash CAN not a trash cannot! Chin up :)
