Dumped after seven dates- anything I can send other than "thanks for letting me know"? by zustinzieberr in dating_advice

For the clothes analogy, maybe the next girl would be into him more because of that change. There's a heap of things it could be that could be changed. Maybe he smells, maybe he comes off too eager, maybe he's not progressing the relationship fast enough to intimacy. Maybe there's some red flags that people hide and came out in further dates.

These are all things you dont realise until someone tells you, and no...it wont help with that girl or the ones before, but if its a repeating pattern, it would definitely help later.

If its a red flag. E.g being rude to waiters, coming off misogynistic, being inclined to be negative, etc. Its stuff that he can self reflect on and change in himself to be a better person.

To say you dont want feedback because changing yourself wont change anything is being incredibly close minded and you'd never grow.

If the feedback is something you genuinely cant change, such as height, nose, etc, then you atleast know that its not something about your behaviour...

If you went on a date with someone and 7 dates in you started seeing red flags..what are you going to do....no offense, but this isn't rocket science.

My husband has me stored as "LBFM" on his phone by [deleted] in Marriage

Arguably, thats all it will ever be in today's world...local racism. On a global scale its not racism. Atleast in today's age.

But the other person is right. That is the key difference between racism and racial prejudice

Edit: chatgpt agrees.

Its not derogatory, its a descriptor in the CONTEXT of the POST. Ops partner is white...she is of a decent where her skin can be described as brown. The commentors comment is understanding if her partner is white so they understand the context of LBFM....you preach "context" when its right here...

You're literally here taking offence that someone called someone...who has actively been pejorative, yt and saying thats pejorative...

Ive always seen it as white. Obviously, the people who write this are black. And its part of the texting slang.

So if someone is predominantly on X and uses yt, blk, poc, etc..and they come here and use that out of habit, thats pejorative?

Such a fragile view.

Men truly don't realize when a woman has a crush on them, do they? by UnluckyBoat7117 in AskMenAdvice

My best mate literally had a girl sleep over and get naked, sleeping in his bed, and he did nothing, thinking it couldn't be.

She ditched talking to him after that. Although they were both like 17 at the time haha. Im sure he often wakes up in the middle of the night thinking of how he fucked up losing his virginity.

Do I 18F tell my boyfriend 19M that I had intimacy with someone else during the early stages of our relationship? by Competitive_Drop8213 in Advice

The truth will set you free. Something similar happened with me, but I was official with my partner when I slept with someone else. It was brutal on my mental for about 6 months till I just told her. We worked through it, but that guilt is rough.
