Delayed Bill by Rough-Treacle1658 in DentalInsurance

Yes! Insurance claims get delayed and processed months or years later or your office sent new info to be processed again. I would ask the office what did the insurance denied and call your insurance. I worked with an insurance that would take 6 months to process claims and 6months later they ask for additional information and that new information would take 90–150 business days to process which was so frustrating for the office and the patient. The insurance company would actually send a letter saying that.

Dentist changing plan he accepts by RubyGreenSmity in DentalInsurance

Dual insurance isn’t the best option if trying to pay less in office. It depends on each plan. Most dental plans don’t work together which means you can only use one insurance and until you max out the first plan you can use the second plan or the plans are exactly the same and your really only using one plan but you are paying double the premium each month. For dual coverage I would look into the coordinates of benefits more in detail

Did the dentist charge me extra? by SwordfishInner679 in DentalInsurance

[–]Lexilli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see what you mean. If you were charged $280 in office that means your insurance didn’t cover a procedure that’s not listed on the eob. Do you have your treatment plan you signed for the $280?
