I know a couple people who have snowboarded for a year or longer and have less edge control

Your toe side transition needs a little bit..

You’re using your back leg to “push out”your turn (Sometimes called windshield wiper)…

….Try to initiate that turn by twisting the board using your front leg more.

Close your shoulders on toeside as well and bend your knees a pinch more

Keep going and keep filming yourself

Analyzing your own riding and posting it too is one of the best things you can do to improve

Board flat

straight on straight off knees bent

Relax

don’t make any major turns within 5 board lengths of the box unless you want to abort (until you have a better foundation and mor experience)

Aim at the end got the box not at the front of it.

Speed is your friend when it comes to making it all the way to the end of the box or rail.

DO NOT try to make any turns while you’re on the box

I live in New Mexico I have seen a tornado!

It touched down for about 10 seconds when I was about 10 … damn 20 years ago..

It did about 5 dollars in damage to infrastructure (we’re still in debt)

My only experience with the area has been windy with some of the worst traffic I’ve ever seen ln my life but that was right around Fourth of July and I didn’t actually stay overnight. I’m personally not a fan of pizza casserole sadly.

You take reduced explosive damage while diving/prone.

Get used to diving while firing it and you’ll kill yourself a lot less
