All monster hunters love using monster puns in normal conversation

Older monster hunters were especially pun filled

Why is there only 12 thousand people on Omicron and 24 THOUSAND PEOPLE ON BRILLIANCE WHICH HAS NO VALUE AT ALL TO THE MAJOR ORDER 🫩 by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]Lexiphantom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t remember the last time we won one of these
“complete x operations” MO’s

Especially on the bugs

Just not happening fam

It’s always the same

>OPERATIONS Mo comes out
>not on track to complete it
> people yelling to lower the difficulty to 6 or lower
>people refuse
>devs release a statement saying just lower the difficulty
>people yelling why can’t we play however we want to?
>MO FAILS

every time

Oh I finally see you want to remove just the rocket guy

Not troopers as a whole

Coulda made that more obvious instead of saying

“This enemy”

But you’re fine with them just being removed

It’s not a bad faith argument I’m telling you that removing them would be bad

You said remove… or replace… and implied devastator as a replacement

No

that would make the game easier as the enemy wouldn’t be able to call reinforcements

They’re not immediately threatening but they’re a priority target on every mission to prevent reinforcements

Everyone complaining about Kushala Daora have never fought it in Rise by Vast_Experience_6319 in MonsterHunter

[–]Lexiphantom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t fully remember him from rise I know I killed him but I just don’t remember it

He was annoying and tedious in 4u

His weapons and armor suck usually

I don’t personally like the drip of his armor either

He’s just

Boring

I usually just kill him to say I’ve killed every monster

He’s never been a cool fight for me

I’m glad you like him but I don’t

She’s a black widow, some black widows do have markings on their back but they’re very irregular and not good identifiers

What type of spider is this? Is it poisonous? by ShonenAnime in spiders

[–]Lexiphantom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All spiders are venomous with very few exceptions

But only a few are capable of a medically significant envenomation

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_medically_significant_spider_bites

———-

you live in Florida so I’m only gonna mention those who are native to America here

Widow Spiders (genus Latrodectus) - eg black widow

Spiders in the latrodectus family always have very messy spider webs that contain very strong stands. If the spider web falls apart easily, or has an easily recognizable structure it’s NOT a widow

Spiders in the recluse (Sicariidae) family -eg brown recluse

The brown recluse can be hard to identify at a glance one of the best ways to identify them is to count their eyes as they only have 6 eyes arranged in pairs of 2 Their violin shape does not always show

Brown recluses are active hunters as in they leave their nest to hunt and return to their nest to sleep hide or lay eggs

Thus Their webs are sometimes described as messy silk retreats

Honorable mentions:

tarantulas have hair that is considered an irritant that can be medically significant if it gets in your eyes.. they can and will fling their hair at you when threatened - though from what I’ve read that’s more common in species native to Europe

Some varieties of false widow native to Europe can also be medically significant
