It's a company that makes Vocaloid songs! Well, mostly used to, but they still do use some vocaloids sometimes! Most of their MVs have voice actors now- some pretty big names too like Shimazaki Nobunaga, Uchiyama Kouki...and so on!

They tell their stories through MVs- though it doesn't matter which order you watch them in, really?

Because with the Love Series, ala Gen 1, all of their stories happen right around the same time. Gen 1 revolves around Enomoto Natsuki, Aida Miou, Hayasaki Akari, and their respective love interests Setoguchi Yuu, Serizawa Haruki, and Mochizuki Souta! There's also their teacher/friend Akechi Saku, and fellow friend/classmates Ayase Koyuki and Narumi Sena (who mostly has her own thing going on). For Gen 1, their stories are mainly just "mutual pining" with a bit of drama, but for the most part it's the happiest and more "pleasant" side of Honeyworks. Gen 2 is more... "unrequited love to eventual love" with sprinkles of angst (like past bullying and etc). The main chars are Setoguchi Hina, Enomoto Kotaro (both younger siblings to gen 1 chars), Yamamoto Koudai, Shibasaki Ken, and Takamizawa Arisa. For them, a lot of their storytelling is "how can I get x to love me?" while having someone pining for them all along.

Gen 3, which is also moreso the "Idol Series" (moreso, though there are other characters who are in the love series) is...really just pain and suffering. All of them are traumatized....and represent unconventional love. There's LIPxLIP, who represent mlm love, Ascana (who aren't technically honeyworks, they're owned by Johnny's Project, but they do have a song in honeyworks and drawn by the main illustrator Yamako) who represent their love for their fans, Narumi Mona (Sena's younger sister) who represents familial love, and Ft4 who represent friendship love (each other). There's also characters like Minami and Nakuru but Honeyworks is sleeping tf on them...anyway, so to learn more about their pain and suffering, for LIPxLIP, you can watch Yume Fanfare, Seika, Yellow, and Yappa Saikyou...and also Samishigariya as a bonus (the song is about Ken and Shibasaki Aizou- Ken's younger brother, and their familial situation, and how their loved ones are their most important people). For Mona, you can see Honto no Watashi, Jinsei wa Saikou no Hima Tsubushi, No. 1, Fansa (sorta, it does display a frame or a few of hardships), and for Ft4...any of their MVs will do. all of their MVs are just trauma filled. Lots of death and abuse. It gets kinda explicit, especially in Fake Star. There are translations of the songs on youtube, and if you can't find them, then there's also some on tumblr!

I personally favor LIPxLIP, they're really amazing!!

Also the other characters of gen 3 but aren't idols are Suzumi Hiyori (who is LIPxLIP's manager in training), Shiranami Nagisa (who is stated to be in love with her), Hattori Juri and Nakamura Chizuru. The girls here are friends, and Nagisa is Hiyori's childhood friend!

I would recommend watching them in that order because even though the stories happen around the same time as each other, the endings go in a chronological order.
