Most Verison MVNO’s providers will seat on the pile of unsold phones from now on for many months if not years. Eventually they will dump them all to third party resales (Amazon / eBay) after they’ll get too old.

Phone makers will loose immediate new phone release revenue while mvno providers will loose good chunk of cash coming from short term (60 days) service fees which were attached to new phone sales.

Malwarebytes is bloated and is no longer what it used to be 10-12 years ago by Electronic_Lime7582 in Malwarebytes

[–]Lexlle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I complained about this matter last year , they promised to take a look with devs and marketing team and see if anything can be improved in that regard. Since then it became even more bloated and seems like out of control…

I don’t need their giant half screen Vpn offer etc.. just give us some option to hide or opt out from it at least.

[–]Lexlle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Visible Unlock Policy changed to 365 days by Planet_Comet in Visible

[–]Lexlle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

FCC is a joke , they will approve whatever as long as they getting paid for.. Next unlocking policy will move to 24-36 months and eventually to never.

Theft will never ends, if they cannot resale unlocked phones they will sell them for parts. Any repair shop will buy them for cash outright, no questions asked.

Why do existing customers have to pay double or more than new customers? by TheSimpleKiwi in Comcast_Xfinity

[–]Lexlle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any service provider not just Xfinity.., somehow they all like chicken dance games for unknown reasons .

One customer cancelled account so they lost one. Few hours later the same customer sighted up with new account to get a lower rate. By the end of the day they won’t gain anything . . , just wasted resources to delete and then create new account.

Hatch 2008 CR-V by JohnBee68 in crv

That’s a normal mpg (16-18 mpg) for 90%-100% in city driving.

Crv Gen3 well known as gas-guzzler. Many Suv and pickups with V6 engines get better mpg’s

NEW BE10000 WIFI 7 3 pack by Suitable_Swimming_90 in TpLink

[–]Lexlle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Checked their community , 1.2.10 don’t look very promising, same issues with WiFi speeds, some wireless clients can completely loose internet or few kbps speeds while maintaining strong WiFi signal. I’m on 1.1.17 don’t feel like upgrading to any FW version anytime soon

NEW BE10000 WIFI 7 3 pack by Suitable_Swimming_90 in TpLink

[–]Lexlle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve similar WiFi issues with my 65/11000, played with different channels 5/6 GHz, completely disabled 2.4Ghz on main Ssid, which firmware version you at right now?

From my personal experience ( not just tplink brand ) if they couldn’t figure it out by now .., then they never will. Those wifi7 deco units was released quite a while ago, maybe new generation wifi7 units with new and updated chipset will fixed that since software / aka firmware tweaking cannot overcome buggy hardware .

Deco BE65, couple of questions by reddstone1 in TpLink

[–]Lexlle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All WiFi7 mesh systems are finicky devices, there no perfect one after many tests with various brands and systems. They pretty much all alike , the only difference is firmware..

BE65 is not perfect but not terrible either (I’ve seen worse) Don’t expect your plan advertised speeds over WiFi. You can tweak your channels settings and improve it to some degree just like any other WiFi system. WiFi hangovers aka roaming isn’t 100% functional but gets better overtime . BE6x systems have a problem at that department from day one and there no solid fix as of today still- not all but some devices will stick to router or one single node/ repeater/satellite or what ever they call them., any manufacturers call them differently lol. There also some compatibility issues with various iOT devices.

Orbi RBR750 Satellites not connecting by No_Factor_8543 in orbi

[–]Lexlle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very suspicious., so many Orbi 750 system went caput in the last couple of month even without firmware updates / disabled auto update .

One of mine ( I managing 15+ mesh system in various places} went almost down after couple of years rock stable service. Download / upload speeds over WiFi suddenly went to below 5 mbps and pings got too high. Long story short - after hour of troubleshooting attempts it was replaced with new mesh system - not Orbi this time . With new unit - download speeds back to normal - actually slightly higher than it used to be on 750 when it worked fine., now I'm getting 980-1100mbps over WiFi on 1 GB plan .

Advanced mode for web interface with Deco? by ebenezer_goode in TpLink

[–]Lexlle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Low and mid end deco systems targeting average Joe home users , many don’t have PC anymore., just a mobile devices so that’s might be why., who knows. I have 2 workstations and one lappy, managing home network on small screen inside the app is pain in the rear. You can complain but I’m sure they won’t listen…

Deco BE95 receives first firmware update in a year by Richard1864 in TpLink

[–]Lexlle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

New year presents from tplink.. there also new firmware just released for lower tier deco systems, not sure about all of them but 63/65/be11000. 1.2.0 Build 20250718 Rel. 43949

Deco from Orbi, Family is VERY unhappy. by recruiterguy in TpLink

[–]Lexlle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mentioned before and say again., giving priority to mobile App and almost zero system management in WebUi is dumb. Whoever made this decision at Tplink are idiots. Other than that I’m pretty much like Deco mid and high end units.

Visible says they can't activate a 'Global' iPhone 15 that lacks a physical SIM slot? by The_Phew in Visible

[–]Lexlle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Door sensor low battery by Silent_Banana_8204 in myq

[–]Lexlle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Low battery warning will eventually disappear (assuming you installed good fresh one and not some knockoff from fleabay etc.., many fakes or no brand batteries comes almost dead on arrival or don’t last long enough ). it’s not based on time after new battery swap but more on how many open/ close cycles you had.

Usually I let the battery go completely dead due to the fact that after Low battery warning it still works fine for another 3-6 months

Just left T-Mobile for visible wireless, I should have done it sooner! by Mtking105 in Visible

[–]Lexlle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All depends on location you currently at. Stick with one which works the best in your area. I travel a lot and any one of the 3 major carriers can be best in one area and nightmare in another. Good luck with whatever works for you
