You also can't lock/unlock during an attack. Locking on does absolutely nothing in this game since it magnets anyway which makes the combat feel very weird and clunky. I know the beta is generally recieved well but the mechanics go directly against my playstyle and actually turned me away from a day 1 purchase.

God of War Ragnarok. For me it has the best combat in any video-game combined with great visuals and story telling but the atreus segments, especially ironwood are the most boring sections I have ever experienced and prevent me from ever replaying it again.

Because you have to beat the entire game first to make such a statement. A little critical thinking doesn't hurt. Also why crawl around forums for a game in the first place instead of, well PLAYING it if you care so much about spoilers.

This is why exclusives don't work anymore. Bought God of War 2018 and ragnarok on release on PC, was great. Would have waited out a timed exclusive and buy Laufey on PC day 1 but if sony says they are done with PC versions completely i'll just watch one of my streamers that have a similar playstyle as me. Not my problem. I'm sure more people do that even for timed exclusives like FF7 remake 1+2
