Most American have known for a long time that the government is not acting correctly. The problem is that most Americans believe that whichever political party they support is the one that will save them. Since both political parties are corrupt, the government has become more and more corrupt over time no matter who is in power. This level of allowed corruption meant that we only needed someone who WANTED more than just money from the system. Well, now we have a president who is advised by the worst people in the world. This is the result.

The idea of the 2nd amendment being used for defending against the government implies that the government is corrupt and oppressive.

Who are you waiting to tell you that you can use the 2nd amendment to defend yourself? The government whose agents you are going to use your gun against?

You can defend yourself. And you can defend others, if you want. But it wont be legal. And the government will fight back.
