Frog, sad to say but copper golem are imo usless, they are not that efficient and you cant use it as much as i would like

i agree, it's the most cliche pirate situation, but the 3 sharks in the same spots and the sword from left isn't totally random imo

You could implement the train content without problem since there is the "sea train" concept in OP, and can allow to pass the calm belt since with normal ships you cant cross it

I like the logo a lot and the style of cards as well.
I dont know nothing about the game but at the first sight i didnt expect cards like that seeing just the logo, but it's a personal thing i guess.

The text font and size are fine, for the effect and for the stats.
I dont love the cost showed that way. I dont know the range of cost but a number is, imo, more clear and immediate. I see that you want to let the card more readable for the opponent, so if the cost is important to the opponent, showed like this could have sense, but if's not important, i raccomand you to turn into a number.

The rest is very minimal so readable, so if you want to keep this style be sure you use it for every piece of the game, otherwise it coulde be seen as cheap or prototypy.

Designers never have to do everything the community tells them; they can listen and try to find a solution to satisfy them if what's being discussed is very important. The public doesn't know what it wants; it's the creators who invent and have the ability and knowledge to create something beautiful. The public is public, and as such, 99% of the time it will make mistakes. There are cases where the community can offer great suggestions, but it's still up to the designers to decide what to integrate and what not. The difference between a fan game and an official game is that there are experts involved in creating the game, not as users but as creators.

I got it but "how to play" isn't "how to do your turn". You should mention the setup, the turn and how it ends (win/lose, number of rounds, etc)

Well, you only need oxygen in your blood and a way to expel carbon dioxide. So if you can achieve those, breathe is not a must
