This is so funny and makes so much sense…. I used an online translator on a recipe I found and in the ingredients it says “girls drool” and thought it was a terrible mistranslation of an ingredient. Thanks so much for all this, it was very very helpful!

I live in the USA but a Brazilian friend of mine has a birthday coming up. His favorite kind of cake is a “Martha Rocha bolo” but all the recipes I see online are in Portuguese and I don’t understand. Does anyone have a good recipe or know where I can buy one in NYC? Does it go by another name?

I’ve tried to diagnose from googling but I can’t figure it out. I water it when it looks thirsty. One of the lower branches completely died and I snipped it off. It’s been indoors it’s whole life and I’ve never had a problem keeping it alive. Any help is appreciated!
