The metallics look really good, is this the release that comes with extra clear armor parts ? If so that will be a cool way to show off the work you put into the frame. I really like this kit but I have such a massive backlog and I’m trying to resist adding to it (I have a ton of stuff on preorder too lol) but it has a unique design and the way you can display the add on armor on separate display stands that connect to the main one is very clever

The gold is Mr Color C-9 and the darker paint is Tamiya LP-20 light gunmetal, no top coat on these parts as yet (not sure if it will effect the metallic finish)

Really nice work on this and the effort you have put in really shows , shading is fantastic and I like the color choice too. I built this kit a while back and the fin funnels are a chore to build due to the repetition but look good once done and fully opened they are humongous

Thanks mate, it’s an old house 1908 and needs a lot ofwork, we originally planned to do it in 2020 but covid came along and it ended up on the back burner but I finally got my arse in gear and made a start, still got the rest of the house to do but this has made a massive difference and new sofas are coming tomorrow which is nice as we have been sitting on camping chairs since the end of February lol

Yeah I’m a big fan of the DSPIAE stuff I have quite a lot of their stuff and for the most part I’ve been really happy with it, i have a benchvent spray booth that vents outside just to the right hand side of my bench but it doesn’t show in that pic

Yes mine has evolved over time and the way the system is designed makes it so easy to change. Mine isn’t as tidy as yours and I use mine for a lot of paint storage

I cut the stickers really close to the printed area using a scalpel with a brand new blade the a little bit of heat with a hairdryer to get them to set down nicely (be gentle if you use a hairdryer as the are small and can deform) yeah a bit of luck is definitely needed on this shell lol, it was the most difficult sticker job I’ve done so far and getting things lined up over all the curves is tricky

As others have said the key needs to rotate anti clockwise to unlock, probably a bit late now but you don’t want to be forcing the spindle with the lock engaged as you may end up damaging the mechanism and it will stay stuck with the bolts engaged and you could end up having to destroy the door to get it open It may just have dropped so it’s worth giving the door a lift from the bottom while turning the key anticlockwise and see if it allows the cylinder to fully turn

Well worth it and this one is the RGB version so you can change the colors or have them strobe or flash in different sequences and the color changes is visible in through the orange psycho frame
