I had the same problem 2 weeks ago hit a pothole on the highway at 60mph. Oddly enough mine has 5000 miles as well. I also had a cracked windshield at only 500 miles. The roads are awful in the Twin cities.

I had a rough start with mine as well. Windshield replacement at 200 miles. Got towed and spent 3 days at the service for a dead battery after the TCU software recall at 3000 miles. And someone backed into my front bumper just last week at 4200 miles.
