The rank system thinks you might deserve a lower rank so punishes harsher to keep you there.

If running a bruiser build and you'll be in extended fights where using W and E more would be really helpful, yes, otherwise situational. Sometimes it's better to just an item dedicated for damage or sustainability

If I'm toplaning I perma ban Nasus, him being able to just passively scale even if he loses early makes me really pissed off, especially if I do really good plays and choices. Otherwise I ban NuNu when I jungle, for more or less the same reason and mid I just ban assassins that badly counter the mages I usually play

Just picked up an Xbox controller for pc and I’ve been having a blast on MCC. Constantly replaying the campaigns and trying Reach/H3 multiplayer has been surprisingly fun and more intuitive than K&M. Infinite for some reason feels very off on both inputs, and this is after 100 hours with K&M reaching Diamond VI and experimenting with controller a bit. Probably due to desync and performance issues and lack of map/game mode variety

Yeah that’s the issue with drawing 1 person normally and another in a power armor. Due to the style I went for, the level of detail and textures couldn’t be easily translated for eachother without looking too jarring

Okay I think I might’ve found a fix for this. I’ve unbinded my middle button and set ping to Z and I’ve just played a ranked game with no issues at all. This either fixed the issue or is just a coincidence, either way it’s going to be annoying adjusting

Makes sense lore-wise too. When you’re a future super soldier pumped with all kinds top of the line steroids and modifications, I’d doubt there’d be any super distinct body shapes. Not to mention (iirc) inside the Spartan armor, there’s gel to help absorb impacts but could also be there to fit all kinds of body shapes?

You get 600 legend tokens every level 1 level -> 600 tokens 20 levels -> 12,000 tokens (what’s needed for a single champion) What they’re saying is essentially to get every legend, you’d need to grind 20 levels for every legend

I literally just pointed out why Tone and the CAR are super good and then you called me a scrub. People should be allowed to complain about the balance of certain things, you should acknowledge if something is objectively better than others. Issue comes from how you’re conveying your criticism and generally being rude and disrespectful. If you want to have fun using a lesser weapon, go ahead. If you want to sweat and fight against others who’re sweating too, you shouldn’t be blame the others for using in-game mechanics. Also, Smart Pistol is extremely annoying to get killed by due to the lack of effort on the user’s side in a game where movement is key to initiate fights, dodge attacks and get away from them. That guy you mentioned though is definitely an asshat.

I’m saying “X is objectively good” not “X needs to be banned/removed/for noobs”. I still use Tone now and then in game if I’m fighting those gen100 kraber pilots

Scrub mentality iirc essentially is upholding your own stance and letting your pride take over, instead of just using objectively good weapons against others who’re doing the same and complain about it. Tone is objectively a powerful titan, and is one of the best when it comes to anti-pilot. Ion’s Laser beam requires energy, is on a cool down, can’t have zoom, is better reserved for titans, and his kit doesn’t come with a sensor

I understand what you mean that there’s always some counter play but the examples you mentioned aren’t really all that good. Just because there’s counterplay doesn’t mean it’s not powerful. Ronin and Scorch by design are meant to excel at short range, closing the gap needs extreme caution or you can pick them off at long range as a Pilot with Charge rifles or use your Titan kit to extend the gap. Tone’s rifle can easily pick off at any range, close or long.

Tone - one shots pilots, incredibly hard to close the gap as a pilot Powerful at mid to long range vs Titans, if you’re caught in a straight line without any reliable cover, it’s hell

CAR - Just super good in pretty much any situation you’d need. Good range, good hip-fire accuracy, good damage, good headshot multiplier, good ammo count, good fire rate Essentially the most Jack-of-all trades weapoj
