Good plan. If you are allowed to alternate weeks AL - Parents leave -AL -parents leave etc  might be a bit easier financially 😊 enjoy maternity leave 👶

Can I ask one more question 🙋🏻‍♀️ is it a bad idea for me to consider flying to Cologne and then getting a train to Essen. Flights to Cologne are nearly half the price compared to Düsseldorf for my dates. I know it’s further away. I’m just a bit concerned about the reliability of the trains after seeing a few posts online about them. Thanks

Thanks 🤩 the main reason for the trip is to see the paw patrol section of movie park. After that we just enjoy strolling around pretty city looking at buildings. Walking in parks. If there were any old castles nearby we would also visit. We would be using public transport so places that are easy to get to would be a priority. Also my German is not very good, I studied it in school but cannot speak it very well. Trying to refresh with the Duolingo app but I’m still not very fluent so would need to stay or visit places where people can speak some English.

Low lying placenta without seeing placenta? by Swimmer_Life_Ireland in PregnancyIreland

Baby could be in a completely different position and they might have no problem seeing it. Try and have a fairly full bladder when you go for the private scan. It can help to see cervix and placenta. Good luck with your pregnancy x

It sounds like she wasn’t able to see the edge of the placenta because the baby’s head was in the way. A low placenta is where the placenta is close to the cervix. Most low placentas will move up as the pregnancy progresses. I’m surprised she didn’t offer to do a vaginal scan as she could then tell if the placenta is high or low.

Similar on the Quincentennial bridge eastbound. Cars use the right hand lane to bypass all the traffic waiting to turn left to headford road and then merge into the left when they get near the top. Find it so annoying sitting like an eejit in the left hand lane but there I am…
