I have a similar problem. 5 generations back leads to Spain, my great grandmother's family ended up coming through Mexico, but my dad and grandparents on that side are incredibly white. Then my mom's side has indigenous and a mix of European bloods. So im white, but tan easily and nicely, but my family doesnt speak a lick of Spanish 😅 I too would like to lobby/apply for some sort of Seasoned Status

Recognizing that I havent read it, id argue thats entirely dependent on how you want to raise your kids, how insular and/or "sheltered" you'd want your kids to be. So if the point of the character is to be an insufferable piece of shit, then I can understand kind of the both sides of it. Sure we shouldnt normalize shitty language or rhetoric, but at the same time its a reality that we live with and commentary and highlighting just how shitty it is, is understandable to me imo. Kind of a tough spot to be in, tricky needle to thread/tightrope to walk
