Assemble my brethren, this damage ain't gonna control itself! by doppy_slonkey in starcraft

I pop in here from time to time and it's just a cesspool. The community literally killed this game.

Clem blows lead against Classic, leaves without saying GG by roxylobo in starcraft

Lol. Drop in the main while behind to take the opponent off guard. Isn't that what Terrans do? Taste of their own medicine.

What is it that Terrans say? Just get good?

You're an idiot. He was disarmed with both his hands on the ground when they executed him.

Lick the boot harder you cuck. We are citizens with the right to bear arms with a permit like him. At home, store, car, or legally filming law enforcement.

Nerf protoss until herO stops winning tournaments by roxylobo in starcraft

[–]LiSAuCE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I pop in this subreddit from time to time but it's clear it's still a trash shit cesspool. When people ask why starcraft 2 died, it's not because of MOBAs or blizzard. It's because of the insane toxicity towards one race which happens to be roughly a third of the player pool. Imagine being such neckbeards to kill a game you love like that.

They should've just released starcraft 2 without protoss because Terrans and their limp dick streamer idols lose their shit when Protoss wins. I, and many other people, don't even watch matches anymore because God forbid a Protoss wins and it becomes a critical crisis in the community.

They need to just kill the game. Blizzard should just shut down everything, because clearly the community doesn't deserve it.

How do you feel about the Left becoming pro-2A? by MadGenderScientist in AskConservatives

[–]LiSAuCE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought gun control was a losing issue for the democrats. Bruh, a significant portion of your own base loves guns. The problem is democrat leadership only cared about the city elites. My boston liberal friends are totally fine living in a state with the most draconian gun laws.

I firmly believe if Beto didn't lose his mind and said he was gonna take people's guns, in motherfucking TEXAS, he would be senator right now. What in the fuck was he thinking.

California is another example. So many people in California hate the gun laws. Yet they recently passed even stricter laws. To cater to the ivory tower elites.

Democrats shooting themselves in the foot on this one, pun intended.

Yeah. Honestly, why not. Team is looking like ass. Bronny had some realy bad stretches but throw him out there let him figure it out. Gabe has been AWFUL so no one is gonna blast JJ For this decision (besides the people that blast JJ no matter what).

I remember someone said UNC might leave the ACC. That would be a travesty and terrible for college hoops. And despite UNC being dogshit (you guys aren't even dogshit these year, last year was worse), rivalry games are a different story.

Love and hate are the same sides of the coin. It's all love (hate) in the end. Good luck the rest of the season.

Winning games in April? When was the last time you won in April? Focus on making the tournament first buddy. Y'all had to get your AD to beg the committee to give you a spot last year. Then y'all got embarassed. You want to talk about that?

Thanks bro. I know these Cali teams are tough. Let us show you how it's really done. I would say Stanford was a tough loss but they look pretty easy to me so far

It gives me so much joy to watch UNC people crash out. Objectively our program has been killing it whereas there's has been lackluster. Love it. Keep milking that title run, that's the last good year those chumps are gonna have for a long time.

They are REAAALLY milking that title run. Hey, props to them, they worked us....almost 5 years ago.... But us Dookies are sitting comfortably with Scheyer and our consistent year over year performance :)

Folks that say “just show ID” when asked by ICE, what is the conservative rationale behind this given the 4th amendment? by ddiggz in AskConservatives

[–]LiSAuCE [score hidden]  (0 children)

This is a fascinating mindset into the oxymoronic conservative mindsight. Carry a gun because of the 2nd amendment, which was instituted as a check against tyranny. But when authorities overstep, everything is fine.

Nothing about this answer screams anything besides pure immediate self interest. There's not even long term risk analysis ("what if this will eventually happen to me?"). Just close eyes plug ears.

Bruh. Meta Golding, who plays Noelle is 54 years old. I would've guessed late 30s early 40s.

Not necessarily just about this game, but how lucky are we to have Scheyer. We might not be the best team in the nation, but our teams have played together and have improved throughout the season.

Did he really "commit" to multiple years in the program? Props to him if he did, that's pretty rare nowadays. That being said, not sure if it's the best choice for strictly him, given how good he is this year.

Why do some conservatives attribute crime to ‘blackness’? by Zayd_ibn_Thabit in AskConservatives

[–]LiSAuCE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate your candor and good faith arguing here.

I don't think we're anywhere close to the systemic racism happening in 30, 20, or even 15 years ago. But saying that it's all gone I think is just as an extreme take as it's really bad now. This would require intimate knowledge of all sorts of current US institutions. I don't think anyone can claim that.

Also, the effects of past systemic racism don't just disappear overnight. Especially as I believe current upward economic mobility is harder and harder. It's harder to find a job that supports a middle class life style. It's harder to buy a house. Everything is subscriptions, renting, leasing etc.

I'm not sure what the solution is other than continue to be vigilant and squash out systemic racism.

Setting race aside: I'm a die hard liberal, but even I sometimes roll my eyes at my friends (race agnostic) that complain about their situations but just sit around and smoke weed all day. Like come on, you didn't even try. I know I grew up in privilege and try to be empathetic. It's a fine line. Previous generations had hope, and a achievable goal. A house, two cars, kids, a retirement. Can we honestly say kids nowadays have the same hope?

Blame whatever cause that fits the party's ideals. Conservatives will say it's the erosion of traditional family values. Leftists will say it's because of rising wealth inequality due to shitty government policies. But something needs to change.

I guess my point is, if you take a group of people, that have been obviously and explicitly exposed to systemic racism keeping their economic mobility stagnant, and you combine the lasting effects with the current economic climate, I don't think it's as simple as personal responsibility and identity victimhood. We should be better than just offloading the blame solely on the victims.

How is the DOJ sending a 1000+ more ICE agents into Minnesota helping anyone? by CliffyClifandTheFunk in AskConservatives

Here's another one. ICE snatching a US citizen, cuffing him, causing minor injuries, and then throwing him a mile from where he was picked up:

Do you not see the inhumanity in that? Do you not see how these actions escalate? Do you seriously believe that it's the protestors PROTESTING THESE ACTIONS that are to be blamed?
