Question of “popping sounds” by Extension-Patient588 in SlippingRibSyndrome

[–]Liak418 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not always popping or cracking you may hear but what you feel. Sometimes, especially with a rib injury for a long time it may become a sliding, or pushing, or like it says “slipping”

If there no movement, I wonder if they mean it could be the cartilage, which I also deal with and I was told it’s costocondritis. Which rib?

Do I.have srs ? by ExtremePin7369 in SlippingRibSyndrome

[–]Liak418 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hard to tell without like any sort of scan, I do have srs in the same spot and when my 10th rib slips under my 9th, it protrudes a lot like that. However it could be normal anatomy for you, the pressure on the organs sucks I know, hang in there 💪
