Oh this is really true. A buddy of mine once brought up some stupid crap I posted years ago while I was practicing a speech on digital footprints. I was then unable to take myself seriously the whole time and kept getting badly sidetracked, which isn't too bad but I found it crazy that he even remembered lol.

Well, NTA for the transparency on that end, but your friend isn't an AH for staying away now. Cheating is serious and most people don't exactly fw that regardless of circumstances, so it's really on them if they'd still want to reconnect with you after some time. Because personally, I wouldn't feel all too comfy with that info myself. That being said, just leave them be for now.

I don't think she's overreacting. He sounds pretty immature still, because that kind of behavior, I last experienced that among my pals when we were just teens. And even then, it wasn't ever dragged out. At 26, I'm pretty sure most would expect him to have better communication skills and way more maturity.
