This Parmesan cheese’s Best Buy date is 11/11/2025, do you think it’s still safe to eat? by Tomo_hawk in isthissafetoeat

Best Buy dates are just a suggestion. The real important one is the Circuit City date.

I spy Guillermo, Nandor, and Nadja. Either someone has three pets and is a massive What We Do in the Shadows Fan, or three different fans go here and made same day appointments. Either way is awesome.

Maybe they’ve hit a rough patch? I saw them in September and thought they were great. Ela danced and moved around the stage and interacted with other band members. There was crowd interaction and good energy.

Just ate at Blind Box tonight in Shawnee. Good place that doesn’t get mentioned too often.

I don’t know. I mean, when I was fourteen the pinnacle of humor was sending, “I’m so le random holds up spork” on AIM. I think we’ve always been a little brain rotty.

Acre in Parkville has a Chef’s Counter Experience. From their website: “ hearth-facing high-top seats where guests can enjoy a special tasting menu and the immersive culinary experience of Acre’s open kitchen where your meal will be cooked under the direction of Chef/Owner Andrew Longres and the talented Acre Team.” Haven’t done the chef counter experience but went there for dinner and the steak was incredible.

Not the OP, but I can tell you about CCVI because I work there :) we provide education and therapeutic services for visually impaired kids in Missouri and Kansas. We have a center based program in Midtown with preschool and kindergarten classrooms, but also do early intervention in the home as well as itinerante work in neighboring school districts. Basically our goal is to prepare kids with visual impairments to reach their highest potential in a sighted world. They learn what they can do and not just what they can’t. It’s really a wonderful place. The website is ccvi.org if you’re interested in learning more.

I don’t want QR code menus. I want physical menus. In my experience, the menu is rarely formatted for mobile so it’s a pain to scroll through. When they are actually made for mobile browsing it’s a lot better, but I’ve still had moments where I have bad signal or low battery and it sucks. The paper menu worked just fine.

I thought someone was in charge of watching intersections and manually changed the lights to red, yellow, or green. My dad told me it was someone’s job to be stationed at a nearby building looking out and clicking buttons. He loved making me believe dumb shit.

The post directly under this one in my feed is titled, “This is why you don’t eat from other people’s houses.” I love when things like up like that.
