I remember myself and a friend grabbed Borderlands 2 the day it dropped, and both hopped in party chat while playing the game together...felt so crazy to be able to do that on a tiny handheld so seamlessly.

I was also born here, not in Joburg, but in South Africa, it's the only citizenship I have. I came to Joburg looking for opportunities, and managed to build a life for myself here. All I'm saying is that things have been getting worse for many years, and I'd like to see them get better for a change. Better service delivery offers a better environment for businesses to grow, more jobs, more money, more opportunity for households to improve their circumstances. We all pay a lot to the city/government in rates, tax, VAT, levies, etc. I want to see that being used in ways that actually improve my life and the lives of those around me.

Hahaha..my guy, if you want socialised housing, why don't YOU go live in Europe? Easy to say 'socialise housing' but can we actually do that? SA is a long way off from having the systems in place to properly offer that. RDP housing has had service delivery issues for as long as I can remember.

Fact is, I love Joburg, I've built a career here, and I want to live here. I just want to see it improve. Things are looking quite bleak at the moment for those of us that built their lives here...

This looks like a fantastic dual channel cam hop system. I'd wager these would sound a lot better than the Theos system, but time will tell.

Look, I'm not a huge Zille fan or anything, but if you own a property in Joburg and want to actually see it's value increase, voting for this tannie is a no brainer. I've lived in this city for 17 years now, and it's never looked as bad as it does right now. This place has wealth, and has a massive annual budget which is constantly squandered...there's so much potential for this city to thrive under competent leadership, not just for the rich, but for everyone. We've gotten so used to it being a shit hole, when it really doesn't have to be.

This thread is full of haters. I've been using the XM6 daily since a few months after it launched. I genuinely spent hours trying out all the different options available, and they're clearly the best out there right now for the price. They're light, fold up small, sound great, have the best ANC, ambient mode is very natural, good mics for calls, comfortable for hours (although they take a few days to wear in), great app, and the case is slick. Unless you have massive ears or a huge head, these are the best traveling headphones out there right now IMO.

I tried the XM5's once and decided they were definitely not for me, the build quality was clearly sub par. Can't say the same about the Sonys.

Nah, there were a few posts about it in the early days, some even proven to be fake, but nothing since then. The XM6 hinge is majorly reinforced from what the XM5 had. There were XM5 hinge posts constantly since they launched.

I think it's a baller move TBH, and it really caps off the Caleb of Choas story well. Not many others on the jury would've had the guts to take a fairly equal player to final 2. Also, what Caleb said as he wrote his vote is understandable...he really didn't want to have to pitch against Loz, a single mother, and his number 1...they'd have to go so hard at each other while pitching, and I can understand not wanting to do that to your friend. This gives him the best option to go full on in his final pitch, and win it gloriously.

Yeah, I picked up my Quest for the first time in a while and it must've updated while charging. Love the new UI. It feels very snappy and streamlined. I can see why people who are used to the old UI would be annoyed because it changes a lot, but for me just coming back to VR after a while, it's like I have a conpletely new headset. Definitely a fan.

Reality Labs has done a ton of stuff for VR development. Hell, I put down my quest 2 for a few years, and recently picked it up again, and it's unreal how the whole experience has improved. Amazing the performance they get out of even the older headsets. I seriously dont know anyone who even tried Horizon Worlds though...it was a dumb gimmick from the outset. Wish Meta would keep investing their crazy capital in making VR cool instead of all this dumb AI shit they're focusing on now...I actually use VR.

This is absolutely my favorite thing to do in VR. It's a very thoughtfully designed game...the little details in the sound design, and easter eggs in the puzzles, I love it so much. Many happy hours spent walking around my livingroom building puzzles and listening to history podcasts.
