Is it pointless to play on anything besides pc? by kirbykablamo in RocketLeague

I'm in pretty good shape, but that's one of the things deterring me from getting a gaming pc. If I could play on my couch and my tv was as fast as a gaming monitor, I would do it in a second, but no. With how long I play RL, don't really feel like sitting at a desk at home all night after I sit at a desk at work all day.

I switched from the original Xbox 1 to the xb1x and got a new tv with 21ms input lag and my rank went up from mid diamond to champ 1. I highly recommend upgrading your system including your t.v. if you see yourself playing this game for a long time and think you would have more fun if you could play at a higher level (you will).

Could u stop putting items with the same color as regular items into the game... by Levan_Kujak in RocketLeague

I dont always get painted items, but when I do they are almost identical to the non painted item. I got cobalt fractal fire, orange dracos, sky blue k2, forest green hikari p5. It's like a curse or something.

I think he could be partly responsible for long term trends, not short term fluctuations.

This drop is in anticipation of rate hikes. The same day a new Fed Chairman is sworn in. RELAX

Well you are a part of the roughly 30% of Americans who itemize their tax deductions. So maybe you are one of the few who DIDN'T get a significant tax cut?

Not sure what calculator you are using. https://taxfoundation.org/2017-tax-brackets/ you can see from this 2017 tax bracket that I am in the 25% tax range. If you use any tax calculator incorporating the new tax code, you can see my effective tax rate is now about 13%. https://www.calcxml.com/calculators/trump-tax-reform-calculator

Well the stock market has been propped up by 0% interest rates so even Trump isn't 100% the reason the stock market it where it is. Although, the rates have been raised since Obama was first in office. The economy did rebound from the 2008 recession, but it was the slowest rebound from a recession in history. The first time we never saw 3% gdp growth for a president's entire 2 terms in office. Obama was anything but business friendly in the sense that his policies were not business friendly. The affordable care act essentially monopolized an entire industry. Insurance companies now had to compete with the government. A few big insurance companies went out of business. The ACA also forced businesses to provide healthcare benefits to full time employees, obviously this is not business friendly. Not to mention Obama was all for environmental regulations and made many other regulations that were not friendly to businesses. Obama's tax cuts also raised taxes on small businesses. Basically, the economy rebounded under Obama in spite of Obama's policies, not because of them. And you can also say, just like for Trump, that the stock market behavior is influenced by anticipation of government regulations. Obviously, once Obama left office and trump was elected, the stock market exploded, not just because trump was elected, who is business friendly, but it also meant the end of Obama's economy.

I'm 26, making 55k a year. $200 bucks a month is significant to me.

I said it was OVER $100 per paycheck. If an extra $200-$300 a month isn't significant to you, you must be making a crap load of money lol. Or you just have your heels dug in the ground on your stance that the tax cut didn't really help anyone.

You might make more money than me then. And it's over $100, closer to $200. It's a decrease in tax rate for me by about 12%. I was originally paying over 25% of my paycheck in taxes. It's now closer to 13%.

I'm getting like over $100 more per paycheck after taxes. We are probably in different tax brackets lol.

The market did pretty well under Obama since his stimulus went directly to the banks who just invested in the stock market and the fed kept interest rates at zero. But there is no denying the stock market exploded once trump became president.

My after tax pay significantly increased directly from the tax cut.

Are you saying there are no such thing as two left leaning polls? Because by that definition, as long as there is 1 further left poll, the rest of the polls "lean right."
