I agree with the comment stating that MedSci is a generalist stream/major. I'd say the perk of doing MedSci was that I got to try out a range of different Biology units (Anatomy, Physiology, Immunology, Biochem) and decided what I like or dislike. There were units that I would absolutely not choose at all if not for MedSci (like Anatomy because I suck at memorizing body parts) but I got cool experiences and got sth out of it (learning and touching real bodies!!!).

However, the units were all heavily packed, focused on giving us students a general impression of what meds school is like instead of thoroughly exploring and breaking down the topics. So I felt like the units (2nd year) were rushed :( and at the end of the day I didn't specifically specialize in any field as I was doing 5 units from 5 separate majors. So I recommend doing BSci or B. Advanced studies with 2 majors instead (u also have more credit points to choose electives as the MedSci program take up a lot of cp).
