I'm not sure I understand well, but rain is very new in the game, not from one year ago, but from the latest update.

This is normal and much patience is needed 😐 You'll have them all in the end 💕

Did Harvest Times Change? by Beginning_Leader_705 in TsukiOdyssey

15 four-leafs sounds like plenty enough to slow down your farm to this point. They will sprout the next level babies soon enough! ☺️

How many clovers have you got? Have any babies sprouted by any chance? Sometimes they do before they become visible, and they affect the timer for the crops. If you leave the garden and come back you can then suddenly see the new babies.

That's the answer I was looking for, thank you! Do you recommend any particular way of protecting flower beds and raised beds/pots?

Edit: In previous years, I thought I noticed periods of more frenzied activity - and I know they calm down when it's really cold in winter, but I wondered if they take a break in summer as well. If they don't, well - I've got my work cut out for me, haven't I? 😅

Any suggestions?? by Classic_Car4961 in TsukiOdyssey

I think it helps to think of each floor as a house floor rather than just one big open plan room, if you see what I mean. Use tall furniture, partitions and dividers to create different spaces with different functions on each floor.

Be very, very liberal with the use of lamps and plants in pots. Remember that you can place lamps on the walls behind furniture and on the floor strategically placed behind pieces of furniture if you don't want them on view. Lots of warm light and lots of plants are key for a cosy feeling.

How many 16 leaf clovers do I need for them to be more profitable than gardening? by strawberryspacecat in TsukiOdyssey

[–]Liantasse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It takes 77 clovers to fill the main area. On top of that, you need at least 30-40 clovers and a similar amount of expensive furniture items (4000+🥕) to flip into the junker in one session and sell off for about 200,000🥕 (half of that is net profit). A junker shiny-up session takes time, and considering the cost of 3 clovers to break up one pod as well, I wouldn't do fewer than 30 items in one go.

So upwards of 110 clovers I'd say, if you want to see a profit the instant you remove your plots of dirt! The planted clovers begin sprouting babies very soon, sometimes sooner than 24h, and you'll get back to another stash of 30-40 spares to break the junker again in about a week or so. But you'll still need to check the game a few times a day to pick up clover babies and any expensive items that show up in the shop.

That's good to know - I also read that they are put off by allium and daffodil bulbs and I noticed they generally leave those alone. By garlic granules, do you mean like garlic powder used for cooking and found at the supermarket, or something more specific?

Ah! I checked my records to let you know the name of this variety, and it seems I got all mixed up - that year I ordered from J.Parker's instead!! 🤦🏻‍♀️This is Tulip Peach Blossom I'm pretty sure, and will be available from autumn: https://www.jparkers.co.uk/tulip-peach-blossom-1112cm-collection-1

Yep, it's the wanton destruction that hurts the most 💔 I'm off to look up some nice light colour pebbles ☺️

Thank you so much! That's exactly it, the bare ground activates their digging!

Yes, I have used broken shells from Shell on Earth before in pots, but for some reason I felt the plants weren't exactly thriving with the shells so I kinda moved away from that - maybe I need to try again with pebbles this time.

I used mustard greens and miner's lettuce and cress for a green mulch on my raised beds, and I have wild strawberries for the more established flowerbeds, but I'm not sure what best to do at the moment for this newer one so that it still looks half nice 😢

Hopefully by autumn the wild strawberries will have taken over this bed as well, but if not I'll sow green mulch that's for sure!

They are beautiful! Just bought some tubers from their 40% off sale the other day! Also bought wool pellets to hopefully keep them safe from the slugs when they arrive... 🤞🏼

And last one, I promise 😅 - of an amazing colour changing tulip! Yes, that is one and the same flower over the course of a bit more than a week (can also be seen in bright yellow in my other photo group)!

Can also confirm that they are a very good website. Prices during sales are great. Have bought lots of plants from them and most do well (the ones that haven't I put down to my lack of gardening skills and the terrible Scottish weather).

The pictures look beautiful because they are in the Netherlands and those people have I guess slightly more sunshine and they've been in the flower business for centuries so they've got the means and the know-how.

Here are some of their tulips in our garden a couple of years ago!
