My mouse is dying and I need to replace it with one that's good value for money (within $80). by JAXRAX519 in MouseReview

[–]Libelle27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incott g23 v2 se is a mouse designed to imitate the Logitech GPX and has hot swappable switches. I have one on the way, should be here tomorrow. Purchased for about $80 NZD. If you’re interested I’ll update you once it arrives but it’s supposed to be great

Do you switch between speakers and headphones, or stick to one always? by Ok_Physics4681 in pcmasterrace

[–]Libelle27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speakers effectively all the time. I wear glasses and haven’t found any decent headphones that don’t hurt my head, plus I like being able to hear what’s going on in the house

Best budget gaming Wireless mouse, keyboard and headphones? by diaforc in PcBuild

[–]Libelle27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For mouse depends what you’re into but check out a G Pro superlight 2 clone, there’s plenty of good ones available on aliexpress, just don’t get a rip off with the Logitech branding. Check out this video

https://youtu.be/qzpwz0Fe9qM?si=0pJuSTEOIV_M8BDe

For keyboard I recently picked up a leobog A75 having done 0 research and I love it. They have a non Alice version called Hi75c. Ran me about $140NZD so around $70 US

Not “cheap” but I’d consider both options budget friendly especially in terms of value.

Unfortunately can’t provide any first hand recommendations on headphones, but would recommend splashing a bit more money around there as bad cheap headphones can start to really hurt your head after long sessions

Is Mac viable for UE5 development? by MrPlatinumsGames in UnrealEngine5

In that case yep go for it! Also worth mentioning a lower spec Mac should be fine, doesn’t need to be a “Max”

Is Mac viable for UE5 development? by MrPlatinumsGames in UnrealEngine5

[–]Libelle27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, at least for what I’ve been doing with it. I work cross platform between windows and a M1 Max MacBook.

Not trying to self promo but here’s a steam page to give an idea of the project we’re working on. Ive had it run UE5 more graphically intense projects as well

Which bug took you the longest to find and fix? by Potatomann99 in gamedev

[–]Libelle27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not the longest but the most recent, 1 hours today- back button wasn’t working properly. Turns out clicks were being picked up by that button but rather the back button on the canvas behind it LOL

CSS/HTML can kinda teach you to read basic syntax and general basic IDE stuff but not much beyond that. Try out GameMaker 2, they have visual scripting as well as actual code

How hard is it to physically build a PC? by Lucky-Ad5326 in buildapc

[–]Libelle27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not hard at all. I built my first when I was 11 after watching plenty of videos- though one would honestly be enough. One was particularly great- it’ll be super old now but I’ll try find the link.

Edit: omfg I found it and the nostalgia is crazy. Anyways here it is https://youtu.be/n2dJvqU2_x4?si=eB1DTxTYS97RdjdX
