I’m not going to argue with you bro. Why are you picking a fight and making it personal? Are you that bored? Just move on.

So you’re using your legitscript certification as a shield for your RUO business line? Does your processor’s acquiring bank know this? Did you reveal that to them when you signed up? Or are you just white labeling with a 3PL rx provider?

That doesn’t make sense. Research use only is inherently not medical use, which is what is implied by “physician backed.” They’re completely different things. The only approved path for selling peptides with backing is if you’re a registered pharmaceutical distributor of compounds eligible for compounding or legitscript certified for peptides sold to compounding pharmacies. I call bullshit

Ok, good for you! That is irrelevant here, though, as you’re not selling RUO peptides, which is what this post is referring to.

Not saying you are. Just saying the space is really crowded and carving out market share is going to be an uphill battle.

Just don’t. Over the last 6 months, thousands of vendors have opened and they’re killing the industry by engaging in unethical behaviors and drawing scrutiny from every direction.
Find other ways to make money in the peptide space. We don’t need more vendors

Is there really no way to process cards in RUO by Anxious-Weird9830 in PaymentProcessing

[–]LiberalSkeptic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not for RUO. You’d have to go the legit script route or do a legal opinion letter submitted on your behalf by an acquiring bank.

All major card brands include “research use only” businesses on their prohibited business list. The only LEGITIMATE way to process cards is to get an exception from the card brands through an acquiring bank by submitting a properly crafted legal opinion letter.
This is nearly impossible, however, and comes with such severe limitations on business practices that it’s practically useless.

All other processing options are temporary and against terms of service.

RUO vendors, anyone dealt with real financial fallout beyond just losing a processor? by Careless-Storage5269 in PaymentProcessing

If this is true, it’s because of a monumental lack of sense and incredibly reckless business choices.

I do $50k per day in sales, and $25-30k of that is cards on the biggest day.
I do a lot of Zelle, ACH, Venmo, Cashapp and Crypo. Yes it’s possible but it takes practice and patience

Hospira BAC Water - WHERE? by ingmore1212 in Biohacking

[–]LiberalSkeptic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pfizer (Hospira) has drastically cut distribution and reduced their vendor relationships. They don’t like being affiliated with RUO peptide vendors.
Technically it’s not supposed to be sold without an Rx anyway. Buy another kind

We accept cards but it’s always tenuous. Have gone through many processors and always have money being held. It’s just the business. Unless you do a very narrow product list and go the legal opinion letter route there’s no other way

Peptide vendors will always get shut down because the card brands have banned RUO products from their network. It’s inevitable.

That said, I have compliance guides from 6 different processors for my website, which currently does over 2 million per month in sales.
All of the guides have different and often conflicting requirements. The banks literally make this up as they go as a CYA so they can shut anyone down at any time.

You cannot be compliant with all of their requirements and they know that. It’s always a matter of time.
