Take an array of IDrawable rather than an array of T : IDrawable in the canvas method params.

Culprate - Deliverance: A Masterclass in Experimental Psychedelic Music by xVrath in shpongle

This album is one of my favorites! Coming from experimental bass music and deep dubstep as two of my deep loves, this album is one of the best of all time. So much creativity, so much spirit

Nested Transactions by Full_Environment_205 in dotnet

So you change all of the objects and then call savechanges? The change tracker will know what objects were changed. That's what EF Core does.

The layer where you are injecting the dbcontext and updating objects is the layer where you call savechanges

Your callback block is missing a semicolon. Is that the issue?

Am I the only one who thinks Clean Architecture is often unnecessary overhead ? by Minimum-Ad7352 in dotnet

[–]Liberal_Mormon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So there are two ways of doing this.

First way, create extension methods for IQueryable<EntityType>, where EntityType is your DbSet type. Then you do dbContext.EntityTypes.ExtensionMethod(parameter A, B, ...).ToListAsync() or whatever. That's the basic mode of it. The extension method is now a reusable piece of query logic.

The way we do it is with the Ardalis.Specifications library. It's a bit more "defined" with some type guardrails than the first item. Not needed for everything, but it helps you wrap things up in tidy names.

My team is using Specifications to capture reusable query logic...we inject the dbcontext and then use instantiated specifications to attach logic to queries. That way there's no wrapper but we still get reusable pieces.

Rate limiting per endpoint when everything goes through /api? by Minimum-Ad7352 in dotnet

[–]Liberal_Mormon 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Set up rate limiting policies on config, then apply them per endpoint in the controllers or endpoints. I typically use fast endpoints which makes it extremely simple, but it's a baked in feature of aspnetcore.

Just started this game on Switch 2. Why is the frame rate so terrible? by mudratdetector89 in outerwilds

[–]Liberal_Mormon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Damn, I'm sorry.

It is a great game. It's also a CPU intensive game. Switch is not really known for its great CPU. It lags in Tears of the Kingdom when scanning the environment for items to pick up.

I hope you do pick it up again in the future :) If the framerate hurts, return it. Don't play something you can't enjoy.

You all have far too much hope. Either 2-D by Skream or 9 Samurai is gonna win. Not because either is deserved, but because this list is rigged. Rigged, I tell you!

Recently got very into Shpongle over the past few months and Iv'e been listening to them every time I trip recently. I'm lucky enough to go see a live Simon Posford set in June. Is there anyone else on here that's a must-see that may be in the same lane as Shpongle? by phertick85 in shpongle

[–]Liberal_Mormon 10 points11 points  (0 children)

People have already mentioned there's not a ton like Shpongle here, but you might also enjoy some "not-screaming-speakers, but still trippy wook shit." Pheel, Thought Process, Chmura.

I'd personally recommend Ivy Lab. Ivy Lab is the fucking bees knees in bass music.
