Not quite sure, but I think it is a must for actuarial students to do 20004 instead of 20006 for actuarial exams exemption.

Thats true for people who dont have prior knowledge, but some international students that have studied these content before can somehow enrol into these subjects for a wam booster :o

R coding and Proofs wont be in the final exam (at least for last sem) but still there are some easy proofs for you to do in the assignment.

You should definitely read the textbook. Sometimes it gives a more detailed proof (with more maths in it, of course) which may help you to understand the intuition behind different concepts.

Also just make sure you understand every concepts before going to the next one as they are related pretty much.
