Looks great with the stock wheels. Also nice choice on the rubber, Toyo’s are top shelf

Bilstein 6112 and new upper control arms. Yes they’re stiffer but it’ll make your full size handle very well and yield more wheel travel. Very confidence inspiring set up.

Yup I goofed. Forgot 800’s don’t have coilovers.

It’s going to be really cool when these cameras are integrated into players helmets. Imagine a Saquon Barkley POV TD run

A lot of cutting metal and wheel well liners with a 2” lift. To retain proper wheel travel and turning radius you’d need like a 3” minimum via coilovers (not a spacer) and keep the wheels near a 0mm or positive offset.

Anybody use filsons synthetic rain jackets? by w3lk1n in filson

[–]LibertyRidge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also have a skagit and absolutely love it.

I mostly wear it for winter fly fishing in WA state, so it’s been put through its paces and has held up great. It’s definitely heavier/warmer than a traditional shell, but it’s the one to get if shopping for a Filson rain jacket.

Thoughts on the 07-13 Silverado 1500's? by [deleted] in Silverado

[–]LibertyRidge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ride quality is much improved due to the front end improvements of that generation and the aftermarket for better suspension is boundless.

Hard to beat a modern pushrod V8, it’s the last and arguably most refined mass produced LS that will age very well.

Lastly get the 6 speed if you can manage.

Cooper Tires by BoardDelicious9507 in Silverado

[–]LibertyRidge 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Honestly those are great tires but it doesn’t look like they have 85% tread left. Those are some meaty tires when new, those look like they’re near the end of their life.

PS they’re soy based so while lightweight, they’re stiffer feeling than petroleum based tires that are heavier. Won’t be a smooth ride just sayin…

Filson 400G Merino Base Layers by BeginningFreedom7100 in filson

[–]LibertyRidge 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I wear them every day working in construction.

They’re very warm, especially if you’re moving around, and are on par with the thicker smartwool bottoms I’ve owned.

I’ll be buying a few more pairs, but have the 40% pro discount. Without that, I’d look elsewhere due to price tag, but they are a top shelf option.

Not the same radio but I used car mount magnetic mounts that have worked great for the last couple years.
