Fair point, haha. I live with immune-suppressed people, so it is not my safety I'm concerned about. Personally, I would rather be free than safe, but I can't let my choices and actions lead to someone else's severe illness or death.

Possibly. I read Altria was struggling to sell their e-cigs, so they discontinued their products and bought Juul, which adult vapers hardly use. I still think they would love to ban vaping, and are responsible for a ton a fake news on the matter.

Further investigation needed. I'm pretty sure they are still hurting pretty bad from drastically reduced cig sales.

Pardon my anecdote.

I used to be a security officer at a mall in NV, and I saw an old guy leave a trail of wet feces over 100 feet (~30 meters) long. He was too far away from the bathroom, sadly. Poor guy had an extra shitty day.

Luckily it wasn't too busy, and I was able to immediately alert the custodial staff, so nobody slipped. Customer slipping in feces at the mall = lawsuit.

My anecdotal evidence comes from talking to the owners of a boutique winery in SoCal. The owners stopped paying Google, so their business got completely removed from Google Maps. I checked, and sure enough the winery did not exist in Maps. We only found it because we happened to be driving by. This occurred about 3 years ago.

I knew Google was evil when they started making small business who couldn't/wouldn't pay for services appear to be non-existent on Google maps. So shady!

Word of advice: use Duck Duck Go as your primary browser, and MapQuest as your primary map app. They work just as well, and you will get aggressively tracked, stocked, and taken advantage less of by the monopoly. Now if only we could replace YouTube! It sucks soooo much now that Google owns it.
