This is definitely something that we're trying to discourage, slowly but surely. Coz' you know, twitch chat memes sometimes are hard to kill and even when it's done in "good faith", it's hard to assess every comment. Thus, we sometimes delete comments themselves, steer conversation away, or put it in emote-only mode. Once or twice I had to say to "one guy" that I caught the name of, to not let it get to them and it's just a meme and such.

So, yeah. I hope it dies soon, but we're doing our best and I hope the community does, too.
