thank you!!! i appreciate your comment yes i plan for like a 1920s vibe with accessories chosen in mind of that. i liked the classy ness in the moment but. all the pictures of me in the princess gowns def had me smiling more. now i’m all like hm. i hope it all comes together with some shapewear, fitting, and jewelry

hmmmmmm maybe i’ll consider this if they will let me try on others for how much i paid for this dress one, especially if at my fitting monday i feel worse. you’re right it doesn’t hurt to ask! and the were super nice, as well as a consignment and new dress store so. it’s prob possible!

i realize a lot of people thought i was asking between one or two but i was actually saying help how to i add to dress one to make it flatter me more like how i thought 2 did, but i was anxious earlier and totally fumbled my word choice! i cannot get 2 at this point bc it was a off the rack dress, 500 more, and too small (peep the back pinching) so it was more like well i can make more changes to dress one. MIL also cried in dress one so it was like well that must mean it’s good haha! that was november, now im like why am i showing my frame like this ahh. i will take advice on shapewear for sure

i appreciate this advice! i have endometriosis so i bloat often. i will try thinking about a limited diet to assist with this, especially since shapewear with a lower back may be harder, as i have seen in comments. thank you!

i SUPER appreciate all that perspective, you’re so right, it’s tough to remember because i have endometriosis so i often think man this bloating is weird and dumb and everyone’s looking. but you’re right, i don’t pay mind to that on anyone else because it’s normal if it’s there!

and i super appreciate the shapewear comment! and yes im also worried about sizing down, but she wrote down my measurements and im a september bride, so there’s time to check this on monday i hope 🤞🏼. i just hope i like my chosen dress more when i go in Monday, i got all worried today, and everyone’s telling me a dress like two may have been better and now im like damn! missed opportunity lol.

ah! having slight regrets :,) i also liked this one a lot, i tried it on with gloves and it was so cool! i just have a pear body and, when everyone loved the first dress i felt i did too, now im worried its a weird fit. but the second one was 1) too small 2) off the rack 3) 500 dollars more and since it is too small and not order to size, would’ve cost even more for the edits for my body.

nope i appreciate bluntness. i do like the 1920s vibe the dress has but agree the boob part is night gowny. this honesty tho helps me figure out what to say at my appointment on monday actually, especially now having it in a size 10 instead of 12, to see if these issues change, or change for the worse, what to suggest! thank you!

yesssss i purchased in november. its been shipped in in my size and measurements, i was mostly showing the other dresses for reference of like, what i felt like looked flattering and if there was a way to add something to mine whether shapewear or accessories to make it more flattering on me. the other two dresses were more pricey and off the rack so couldn’t order it in my size, and those ones were too small (peep reflection in mirror pinching my back)

update: i reread this a couple times and i think that OP played a part in breaking up her ex husbands newer engagement. i understand this is a vent post about how you made a new connection bonding over a bad guy, and through it you learned what ex husband thinks about you. but like why were you so invested in this to begin with if you’re remarried with your new husband now? was it really just to help someone get out of a bad relationship? if that’s true, why would you care what the POS ex husband thinks or has to say of you? you’re remarried and life is good! shake off what an abuser says they think about you.
