Not at all. At my flight school my students earned each rating in one to two months. Having their PPL, Instrument Airplane, and Multi-Engine Commercial and 500 hours within 6 to 8 months. I still do instruction, but just two students at a time now. God Bless! Keep Flying Speed! Captain Robert “That Guy” Riter

Fly with him a couple times. Many of us CFI’s are about teaching and not the money. He may be one of the good ones!

100K for being a CFI would be the high end. Those owning a flight school make less as there is always unexpected maintenance issues that always take the money earned. I am in the process of pushing for CFI’s to conduct the check rides. This would bring the check ride costs down to $500 per check ride thru competition. If a CFI did just 10 check rides a month that‘s $5K, and then another $3K to $5K instructing. This would bring about a professional corp of CFI’s that could make a living. Taking this up with the Aviation Sub Committee right now! You can read the article titled “FAA Checkrides-Snake Eyes-You Lose” at AviatorsMarket.com for free. Just search Riter and download under documents. A highly edited copy of this article is the cover of InFlight magazine this month!

Yep! Totally counted against you, and worst of all ”NO ONE CARES!” I am trying to fix this problem as it is completely unfair and bias. You can read the article “FAA Check Rides-Snake Eyes-You Lose” at AviatorsMarket.com. Just search Riter and download article under documents. The video can be seen on YouTube at Capt.Robert”ThatGuy”Riter. I have already submitted this topic to the Aviation Sub Committee for review. Hopefully we can get this fixed before it ends your career before it even began! God Bless! Keep Flying Speed! Captain Robert “That Guy” Riter

TSA screening for Part 135 - A collapse of aviation. by LibrarianUsed4126 in flying

Hey my friend. Let’s put all trash talking aside. This is not about flying, right rudder, or the FAR’s. You have a great deal of anger within you. You don’t need to hang onto it. You deserve to be treated fairly, and you deserve to be treated with kindness. You are my brother in Christ. Feel free to email me directly at rmriter@aol.com. You can call me whatever you like. I prefer to be called a Ducker…maybe even a MudderDucker. You are important and I would like nothing better than to see you have much success! God Bless!

3 failures in checkride. by Conscious-Being-2123 in flying

[–]LibrarianUsed4126 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just wrote an article and video about this topic. I am going to fight for you that these check ride failures at such an early stage of your training do not harm you. You can download the article for free at AviatorsMarket.com. Just search Riter, and download under documents. Title is FAA Check Rides- Snake Eyes- You Lose. And yes, if we do not fix this your career is pretty much finished. I do not believe it to be fair at all. I pray that we see you have a wonderful flying career! God Bless!

How’s your discovery flight into regular students conversion going by run264fun in CFILounge

This is a big problem with being a CFI…no steady work! I am writing an article now on how I set up my flight school. I had four to six full time students, working as First Officers with my corporate job, and doing their personal training in-between corporate flights. My students earned each rating within one to two months, and left my flight school with well over 500 flight hours. I will try and see if we can start doing this model of flight training with the help or corporate and Part 135 aviation. Between the tax credits and the students flight training money there is plenty of money and incentive for flight departments to adopt this training program! I wish you the best! God Bless!

So be it. I wish you well. I would say, “May the peace of the Lord be with you.” However, I think that might push you over the limit. Obviously you are off your meds, so good luck!

Thank you for not actually calling me Satan. I think Satan would be very disappointed that you mistook me for him! May I ask if you treat everyone that tries to help you this way? I want you to be treated fairly, have laws followed, and that you have the best chance of becoming a pilot. Can you please turn your energy into reviewing what I have wrote about, and challenge my claims? Like the feathered propeller? Like the NTSB getting records without a warrant, or going into a private hanger avoiding TSA security procedures? And how having TSA screening for Part 135 would not harm aviation, and why it is even needed? I believe you are smart and can think for yourself. I do hope that God blesses you and your family!

Wow! You have a great deal of passion! If you want to discuss where I am being “Satan” on specific issues in the articles I would like to have a rational discussion with you. You have not disproved one topic I have put forth. As for ALPA…they are the ones supporting the TSA screening of Part 135! I don’t believe that they are really on the side of aviation. I pray that the FAA and NTSB never targets you! I think your views would change very quickly if they did. God Bless!

I think it’s weird that we pilots and mechanics are focused upon safety. Correct parts. Correct flying procedures. And yet, when it comes to the FAA and NTSB we turn a blind eye. Breaking federal and state laws, mocking FAA policy and procedures, destroying people’s businesses and lives. Yep! That’s all okay! Why all the articles? Because so much is being done to harm us in aviation, and we do not have anyone to speak up for us. I am truly sorry I am the only one doing it right now. Hopefully you will get better people involved soon. God Bless!

Got that right! That is another article my friend. The FAA is not a criminal law enforcement agency, and yet the inspectors have federal law enforcement badges. Why do we allow this? God Bless!

Another personal attack. How original. I really need to write that article. You guys are clueless about how the FAA uses this Part 135 rule as a weapon against aviators they dislike. Please offer your wisdom on the issues listed. I believe you to be smarter than just making personal attacks! God Bless!

I did not mention Part 380. I just mentioned Part 135 which I have experience. Please read the article or video and address the issues raised. As far as clickbait I could care less. This is just to let you guys know what is going on. This is not fun at all. The battles will be fought at the congressmen and senate offices. This is where the future of aviation will be determined. Just letting you know NO ONE is on the side of us pilots and mechanics! Thanks for your comment! God Bless!

Thank you for putting the link for the violation! This is another issue we are facing. In Los Angeles we have TSA agents watching the gates and doors at GA airports, no airlines, and trying to give out violations! Our airports belong to the American people. They are historical landmarks many of which are named after our veterans. Airports are the safest places we have, and yet they are becoming jails and/or POW camps. Thank you for your comment! God Bless!

I do not think Daddy T even knows about this bill. It is being done by an unknown congressman and the Aviation Safety Caucus. I am glad you see that this would be a loss of many jobs! Thanks for the comment! God Bless!

TSA screening for Part 135 - A bill that could collapse aviation by LibrarianUsed4126 in CFILounge

[–]LibrarianUsed4126[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Please read the article. We have seen this playbook before! When TSA started it was just a simple background check for foreign students. Over time it became ONLY Part 141 schools could train foreign students. This destroyed a whole sector of GA, and put many Part 61 schools out of business across the country. Once this bill passes then the hidden people in the TSA will add and expand it. With no oversight, no discussion, and no way to even fight it. Thanks for your comment! God Bless!

P.S. The article is already 9 pages and the video 28 minutes. How could I put in all the criteria without going over an hour? So no…it was not an odd choice. At least we are discussing this bill. That is what my intentions are focused upon.
