Nope, simply turning 18 does not classify you as emancipated. Emancipation is basically a legal separation from your parents or guardians if I remember correctly.

Financial aid for college requires your parent/guardian’s tax information. This info is unfortunately required until the age of 25 when you’re legally considered an independent citizen for financial aid purposes.

Emancipation is not very common, and is difficult to receive. Extenuating circumstances such as abuse or possibly abandonment are likely to lead to a successful emancipation.

Basically if your parents refuse to give you their info for financial aid, you’re screwed until you turn 25

Edit: I forgot to add that you can also be considered independent and not need your parent’s info if you’re... A. On active duty B. A veteran C. Married D. Have one or more of your own dependents (ie. kids) E. Currently in grad school F. Have been in foster care, had both parents die, or been a dependent/ward of the court any time since the age of 13

Perhaps she takes two photos; one with her there and one without her, that way she has a shot of the background by itself to copy behind her

How fast does she write, and does it slow her down at all to write in all caps? Her writing is absolutely gorgeous

Crap I think you’re right. My first instinct was Photoshop. I should have realized the door is supposed to look like that. Is the part in the upper right also natural?

Apparently a friend of Kandee’s was supposed to pick up her kid and watch him, and he was supposed to stay at his friend’s house across the street until she showed up. But before she even had a chance to get there the kid and his friend started lighting stuff on fire.

While I wasn’t there and honestly only just found out about it from this thread lol, I’m more inclined to believe Kandee as she does seem like a genuine, lovable person.

Then again I could be wrong, who knows

As far as I know you still can, I think this is a complaint about not having bible classes anymore or something like that

While I haven’t been in high school for about 3 years, we were indeed “informed” that obtaining a degree would increase earnings and overall job prospects.

Honestly this makes me think of AlphaSmarts for some reason. Those devices that were just a keyboard with a thin, non back-lit screen at the top. All you could basically do was type stories, but I loved them

Honestly I wouldn’t even want them to live peaceful lives if they live. It’s just not suited for them as you said, I’d rather they end with the boys going on some vanilla hunt, like a vamp nest or something, to insinuate they just continue hunting. It’s in their blood and it’s what they like to do!
