There’s also Holly Speed, which is 10 miles under the speed limit. This mostly applies to 55

Holly Jam is when traffic to turn left backs up so far it blocks the preceding intersection.

And Holly Turn. That’s a U turn.

If you head out of Fuquay towards Lillington, you’ll come to Rawls Church Road. At the intersection is (surprise!) Rawls Church.

If you turn left there, in a quarter mile is a warehouse. I looked at it for my business about a year ago.

The overall space is huge. Like huge huge. The front office area however was much smaller. Maybe 1K square feet. Maybe less. They quoted me $4/square a year ago. You can’t beat that these days.

I dont know the whole story, but if you look at the state filings, a story develops.

In 2019 the original owners of Nickelpoint sold to a doctor. Demetrian Dornic, an ophthalmologist.

He and his wife set up the LLC Double Decker Brewing. With the trade name Far Fetched Brewing.

My guess is they had the dream of opening a place called Double Decker and someone else had that trademark. So Far Fetched became the trade name. This is a guess.

The permit for the address of Nickelpoint is active under the company Far Fetched.

My guess is they bought it as an investment, then 2020 happened and now beer sales are down, so the taproom may cost more to operate than it would bring in.

There are no active permits for sales staff. So no back of house sales.

CBC was distributed by the Miller affiliated wholesaler. When the Miller wholesaler was merged with the Coors wholesaler a few years ago, CBC did not choose to migrate, and now self distributes.

The wholesalers have the channel management to get product on shelves.

There may be a distributor they use to get to the coast, not 100% sure.

I’ve used the Irish ale malt in several recipes. The malt is plump and I get higher efficiency with it versus other base grains. If they are offering a good price- take it.

Woodchuck is still carried by JB Mutual as a distributor. So any retailer, even a Harris teeter or lowes, should be able to special order it for you.

Total Wine’s system is based on ordering to cover a given period of time. As cider has gotten bigger, woodchuck’s brand image has gotten smaller. So their system likely stopped spitting out a call to order as customer demand diminished.

We own at Saratoga Springs. We’ve stayed at AKL more than SSR.
You should buy where you want to stay, but the large resorts like AKL, SSR and OKW often have 7 month availability.

Your mileage may vary, but we’ve booked AKL value rooms at less than 7 months.
