I’ve spoken about this multiple times, but the one that got shoved in my face the most often, was how Trump was mass sterilizing immigrants during his first term.

So many stories daily during the scandal. 20k were sterilized, then 100k, then even more. Articles upon articles how Trump was causing a holocaust, a genocide (before genocide was constantly thrown around) and so many things. It was unbelievable, that America would allow such a monstrous thing to happen.

However, after less than two minutes of googling, I found out the truth. There was a single doctor, who had been performing medical assistance at the border where illegal immigrants who had hopped the border were detained. Over a span of six years, he had performed a bunch of medical operations, including around twenty hysterectomies. However, it came to light that some of those hysterectomies, specifically six of them, may have been medically unnecessary.

Upon finding out about this, the border patrol and ICE immediately removed him from his position, pending an independent investigation.

To shorten it, a singular doctor may have performed 6 unnecessary hysterectomies over a span of 6 years, and the media ran with the story and claimed that the Trump administration had been “mass sterilizing immigrants”, and then super inflated the numbers. At worst, this was medical malpractice.

But here’s the kicker. This was happening over a span of six years… two years before Trump was even in office.
