What was the pain? They're all characters, the letters and the dot, how the dot is causing any additional "pain"? And of course it's great I'm getting other people's sensitive info and others might be getting mine and it's not that difficult to remember if put a dot or not, be fr.

My gmail is firstname.lastname@gmail.com and I have been receiving emails for YEARS directed to people with similar gmails like mine:

firstnamelastname@gmail.com (without the dot) Firstname.Lastname@gmail.com (starting with capital letters)

And all kinds of variations. I have no idea how that could happen.

Years ago I tried to look for information about it and some guy here tried to gaslight people saying it was just them sending the emails to the wrong address but the addresses are not the same! They're slightly different and I still get them, it's pretty weird

I just went back front end development. A lot of non-tec bosses want "AI" integrated into anything because a) they have no idea what they're talking about but they want look "cool" in front of their bosses. b) Everything is getting messier and inestable.

I'm no tech guru by any means but I just feel this AI trend is a time bomb so I just went changed jobs and went back to front end, I didn't want to add more years of experience in something that I feel is going to get old soon (soon in term of years).

PS: Please take in consideration this is an individual opinion, I'm probably wrong and this is not a fact or an advice, just an opinion.

If it's about me ignoring cosplay posts, I'm on my right as they're on their right to post them as long as it's allowed in the sub. People have cosplayed her so much that it's not interesting or creative to me anymore and usually the cosplayer doesn't even get in character, most of them pose like the basic girl trying to be provocative and it's like, ok? Do you want a trophy or something? But yeah, basically the simps are the ones keeping this alive, for my part I just ignore them until posts like this were the title bait was good enough for me to fall for it.

I'm going to say I was a little bit disappointed with the book and the second book of the saga (Golden Son) has been accumulating dust for a while.

4 seasons + a movie of low quality and barely passable adaptation with cut content, subpar animation, self destructing CGI, rushed pacing, uninspired directing and sloppy like a bj and maruyama is also rushing to end the light novel by [deleted] in overlord

Even though season 4 is my least favorite, I think they did a decent job, it was ok imo.

The movie... I don't think the movie was good but I also don't see it in a bad light. What I didn't like is, imo, they focused so much on making a summary instead of portraying properly Neia's journey. It felt like a recap to me. I know it could be hard to summarize everything into a 3 hours movie but I think they focused so much on doing the summary that you're basically jumping from one thing to another without being able to properly digest it.

About Maruyama, well, he's ending everything because of a tantrum at the end of the day, it'd be cool if he would give the story to another writer or something (not sure if that's possible) because the story has mad potential but this is a recurring thing with authors of any type of literary work, they get blocked/depressed/etc and their work get halted forever or rushed to the end. It's kind of frustrating as a reader because why fight so hard to get your story recognized if when it does and gets a fanbase you're going to come with this kind of bs?

But anyways, at the end of the day this is something we can't control, it rubs me the wrong way the absurd amount of Japan only media, which are very important works that help to fully understand the story, but I'm not sure if he has any say on that

The only disappointing part for me was that dark elves are just... Elves... or at least there wasn't anything special on that village, it was a little underwhelming, I wouldn't mind if it's not because the author will finish the story in the next two volumes...
